The WUNC Radio App:
The WUNC Radio App allows you to listen to WUNC, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for WUNC all at once! You can explore and listen to On Demand content whenever you want, share stories with your friends and wake up to WUNC with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WUNC even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing.
• Integrated program schedules for WUNC streams!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to WUNC Radio in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
On Demand
• Access WUNC programs easily and quickly.
• DVR-like controls. Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease.
• When listening to programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one or listen to the entire program.
• The WUNC App displays the web page associated with the program or program segment you are listening to On Demand so you can explore for more information.
Additional features
• Easily share stories and programs with family and friends via the “Share” button.
• A built in Sleep Timer and Alarm Clock allows you to go to sleep and wake up to your favorite station.

New version is a great Update
The new version of this app has been incredibly stable. I’m giving it 4 stars because the updates, while slick looking, are less vision-accessible:
the “Listen Now” functionality is a small button in the lower corner making it harder to find, the text is not adaptive, and news stories headlines are imbedded within an image box.
I used to be able to use this app without my glasses and now I do.
Love WUNC
I like the new look! It seems to be working a lot more stable than the old version but sometimes when I pause the live stream it will not restart and I have to open and close the app again…

No issues!
I just downloaded this app because I got tired of my phone cutting out in so-called dead zones. It’s so easy now to simply touch the app & listen to my favorite shows with no interruptions.
