First and foremost the developers created an efficient app. Great stuff. My local Zen Leaf dispensary itself has given me a continuously positive experience. With the release of the new app I was upset about two issues. Too upset. I overreacted lol After the process I gave my local Zen Leaf another go. My issues were explained and resolved. I’m happy!

The new app is terrible

If I could give zero stars I would. My first order on the new app was cancelled because they didn’t have one of my products. No call, no text for subs, just “cannot fill item. Order cancelled.” I had to call a central location - there is no way to actually call the store, to get my order filled. The second time my order went thru, but was cancelled six hours later - again another cancellation text only. This time because the name on my Google account - which the app suggested linking to my account - didn’t match my legal name. Now, they have my drivers license, my med card and I’ve been a customer for 4 years, but suddenly my order is cancelled because of my name on Google? And if this was going to be an issue, why not warn your customers? Again, I had to call the number and do my order over the phone. I could not use the app to complete my order. Prior to the new app I never had a problem with my orders. I could get them through quickly and I never had any issues with confirmation or cancellations. Now it’s a huge hassle and I can’t even get my orders filled.
You took over my CT dispensary, yet CT isn’t on your map

I’m a medical marijuana patient. You took over my CT dispensary in 2021 (it’s been downhill all the way ever since), yet you don’t show CT on your map, making this app useless to me. At the same time, I can no longer reach my dispensary directly. So you’ve pretty much prevented me from being able to speak to the people I’ve been dealing with for five years. WHY? Why are you so intent on making yourselves the middleman everyone has to utilize, even while denying that you operate in my area? What good does it do to reach a Zen Leaf call center in FL when I have an urgent reason for needing to call my dispensary in CT? The corporatizing of weed started a long time ago—even as people sit in jail for marijuana offenses, because under federal law it’s still illegal. We know what happens when corporations swallow something up. It loses its local feel and becomes part of the black mass of corporate culture. Personal care goes out the window. I’m looking for a new dispensary—or do you run all of them now, in a state that’s not on your map?

I love the convenience of the app now because it was getting really tiring to sign in all the time online but now with the app I’m constantly signed in. It’s super convenient to find anything I need just browsing is a lot more convenient considering the fact that the pictures are a little bit bigger in the app than on the website, but I was hoping that they would have more of their items listing specific details like THC levels, specific Turpines, and it would be awesome as the app would send out notifications when the stores that you’re close to would send out notifications when they’re having sales and discounts and stuff like that. But still very new and waiting to see what they do next with the app and their upcoming updates.
