iHope This Name Isn'tTakenn ,

I like this app. One quick idea.

I’m a premium user of this app now and the money was well spent. One quick idea I have however: I believe this app is slightly behind when it come to dark mode. Most of my apps are in dark mode, and so moving to Zoiper hurts my eyes sometimes. So please add dark mode, and thanks for this great app.

Don’t pay for the subscription

Overall, the app does what it claims to do, but the paid subscription doesn’t work. If you disable wifi and switch to wireless data or change networks or your internet provider changes your IP, the app stops working and you get a weird error “missing push device token” which is the only feature the paid version gives you: push notifications. So if you’re using the free version, you should be OK, but don’t throw money at the subscription, it just doesn’t work.

Barely works when needed

I am on iPhone 11 with the latest 14.5 iOS. The desktop app works fine but the iOS app is quite terrible. They rarely ring simultaneously at the same time. I have to close and reopen the iOS app all the time and it takes a second to register.

They will work together once but then it stops after a call. The only time it rings is if the desktop app is completely closed.

However, even then about 25% of the time the app doesn’t open or freezes up. Calls often get disconnected while talking to customers. I even pay the $1 a month to get “better” call prioritization but it doesn’t seem to do anything at all.

I thinking of trying another SIP client or going back to Bria altogether.
