Google Gemini’s latest update brings powerful new AI models, stunning video-making capabilities, and a more intuitive interface, making it even easier to get things done.

Quick take: Gemini’s upgraded 3.5 Flash model can tackle more complex tasks and coding challenges—and it comes with a much sleeker look and feel. Now when you talk with Gemini Live, you’ll see a real-time transcript that you can copy, share, export to Gmail, and more.

Don’t miss: Gemini Omni, a new video model that generates cinematic clips. We used it to trim our videos with a simple text prompt. Based on a photo of a statue we uploaded, it was also able to generate a high-definition clip of a cyberpunk villain roaming the city streets—complete with ominous music.

Gemini generates interactive visuals, so you can zoom in and explore topics such as the history of Roman aqueducts.

More to explore: On the new Images tab, powered by Nano Banana 2, you can transform photos into whimsical images in different styles (like origami, plushie, and sitcom). It’s also great for fixing blurry photos, deleting photobombers, and correcting lens distortion.
