iPhone notifications

The app works well, however, would it be possible that notifications don’t simply inform you that you have a notification and rather have a one liner stating for example, Vehicle Start/Stop or Ignition On/Off or Trip Start/Stop appended with the vehicle registration. ?

Worst app I have come across

I have been with Cartrack for three years but am going to cancel my service primarily due to the app. Over the past three years it has not gotten any better. The app never opens on first try, I always have to force close and open it again to get to the login screen. It often logs me out which is a hassle. Biggest concern is when I switch on car guard, like today again, the Cartrack service didn’t alert me that the engine had been switched on. I drove away without any alert. On trying to open the app it just shows the loading icon. Sometimes the app showed my car was on when it wasn’t, leading to a fear that my car was stolen. Sometimes it wouldn’t update my car’s location from home even though I’m at work. How can such a big company have such a faulty, unreliable app? Plus premiums go up every year – now paying more than competitors, and R150,000 warranty for unfound cars expires after three years if you go look at the small print. I’m all-round unhappy with Cartrack, but the app definitely takes the cake as being the primary reason why I am cancelling my subscription to move to Tracker. It is a simple app, get it to work reliably.

Horrible!

I am extremely dissatisfied with this service. I have been trying to contact them for almost two weeks to de-install and reinstall my tracker after purchasing a new car. Despite multiple assurances that they would call me back, I received no response.

When I finally got assistance, I was informed that I would have to wait an entire month for the tracker to be de-installed from my old car. This is unacceptable, as the dealership I traded my car in with needs to sell it. Furthermore, my new car will be uninsured against theft and hijacking for a whole month due to their incompetence. On top of that, I am still paying a monthly fee without receiving any benefit.

Once my three-year contract expires, I will be canceling my membership.
