Description

There’s a lot you can do on GitHub that doesn’t require a complex development environment – like sharing feedback on a design discussion, or reviewing a few lines of code. GitHub for iOS lets you move work forward wherever you are. Stay in touch with your team, triage issues, and even merge, right from the app. We’re making these tasks easy for you to perform, no matter where you work, with a beautifully native experience.

You can use GitHub for iOS to:

• Browse your latest notifications
• Read, react, and reply to Issues and Pull Requests
• Review and merge Pull Requests
• Organize Issues with labels, assignees, projects, and more
• Browse your files and code
• Discover new and trending repositories

What’s New

Version 1.160.0

Bug Fixes:

• When moving a discussion from an answerable category to an unanswerable one (or vice versa), the discussion updates the UI for the new category.
• The pull request review sheet has had its spacing adjusted to be more consistent with the rest of the page.
• Voiceover labels for the number of files changed in a pull request are less repetitive.

Minimal and perfect for when you're on the go

Have all the things you'd need on a mobile version of Github. Perfect for my use case which is mostly browsing repositories and checking on issues and sometimes commenting, etc.

If you need more features, you're probably better off using it on your computer anyway cause that's where you'll be coding.

Fantastic App

100% loving the app. It’s a great way to keep work going on mobile 👌🙏. Has a great user experience too with sprinkles of animations here and there. LOVE IT!!👏👏👏

Useful but lacking

I have to say it is extremely useful, but as noted it is lacking. We use the project Wiki extensively, and sadly it is not included in the App. It simple markdown, so it’s hardly rocket science. But we can remain hopeful for the future!
