Extremely happy with everything I have bought from Temu. Was a bit reluctant to order in the beginning so ordered something small first. I was sold instantly. Prices are 1/10 the price compared to name brand products. Communication is good, always getting an email update every time the package moves. Quality is a lot better than you would think, at least for the stuff I order. The part where you have to send an invite to friends in order to get a 100% off your order frankly feels a little scamish, you end up sending out an endless amount of invites and still won’t get anything. Also in order to get this “100% cash back” the people you send the invites too have to purchase a certain amount first before you get any further. Every now and then a spin wheel will pop up where you can get 90% off selected items, it’s really a bargain. I highly recommend Temu above all other apps, you will save a ton of money.

For the better part of the last year, I’ve been shopping on Temu for various items. In general it hasn’t been a bad experience with and over product satisfaction of 4/5 stars.However, they continuously market promotions to their customers like R1 for selected items or get certain items for free or 90% discount on select “seasonal” items if you spend a certain minimum amount on other items. This my fellow shoppers is complete and false advertising. The first time it happened to me was 6 months ago and I made the assumption that I had made a mistake during the promotional process to get “select items for Free”. But now that it happened a second time six months later (July 2025) again. I now know that they use this as a false means for you to purchase on Temu regardless if you really want the additional items (the items you purchased for the promotional deal) or not. Out of principle I returned the entire order

I thought that this app looked very nice and was a proper way for people to save money but my co-worker ordered a JBL boombox but when it arrived it was some of a knock-off brand and the packaging was damaged. The boombox wasn’t that bad of a quality but the fact that the boombox wasn’t a JBL still stands . I just think if he wanted a knok-off boombox he would have gotten one from the tuck shops in the neighbourhood. I also got a link to this app and was eager to see if i can get free stuff but it was a disappointment after I’ve gotten to the last step and invited more than half of my contacts on my contact list . I got a prise of 8 free items and picked the best ones for my little sister for her birthday . But the app wouldn’t respond to all the people , family and friends that actually excepted the link . My thoughts are that the free gifts thing is a scam because of my experience . Either you fix this problem or you will get more reviews of complaints
