HOW IT WORKS Post your job — free, no obligation, and it takes a couple of minutes. Add photos so quotes come back accurate. Get up to five written quotes from verified tradespeople in your area. Itemised and fixed, so you're comparing like with like. Choose the one you want and agree the stages of work. Pay into escrow. The money is held by a licensed payment provider — not by us, and not by the contractor. Approve each stage as it's completed, and the money is released. If something goes wrong, the funds stay put until it's sorted. WHY ESCROW MATTERS The two things that go wrong on home jobs are a homeowner paying a deposit and never seeing the contractor again, and a contractor finishing the work and waiting months to be paid. Escrow fixes both. You pay up front, so the tradesperson knows the money is there. They don't get it until you say the work is done properly. VERIFIED, NOT JUST LISTED Every verified tradesperson has had their identity and trade credentials checked by our team. Where a trade requires registration — a PIRB plumber, a registered electrician — we check it and show you when it expires.
