Lancet Labs Mobile 4+

I requested for my results to be sms’d to me but instead I got a link to download and register on the app. This to me is disappointing, I understand wanting to move clients into the future but forcing people to download an app to be able to access their results is not good practice. I specifically requested an sms because the phone I was using did not have the capability to download apps. I literally had to ask a stranger while travelling to use their phone to be able to see my results.

What was the point of me selecting a specific option to receive my results just for you to share my results in a method that was not available on the form. You really need to rethink your policy on this, because unless I have access to the internet essentially I cannot see my results

You would think this would be useful, but not! My doctor advised me about the app and that I would also be able to access the results, yet new results are not loaded. I can onle see some very old results. The app indicates that results were updated be you cannot see them on the app. One would also think this would be useful for Covid tests, but yet again it shows results have been updated be the report is not updated thus you cannot see or access it. And have not received an sms. Poor poor app! Ampath is much more efficient. Have never loved Lancet and prefer not to get my tests through them.

I was extremely happy with this app until a friend really needed me to check their results! I tried registering him an unfortunately he had an old number that was given to Lancet. I tried checking on Google on how I could change his number so I could register him but to no avail there wasn’t any help. As well as the app there are no options to change numbers so that a patient could register immediately (many people change their numbers!!!) So now we need to wait until tomorrow morning to get his results all because this app doesn’t have the functions that it requires!!!
So disappointed with Lancet!!!
