Works great, but I prefer the previous G-Remote for two reasons. The icons on the G-Remote are larger and can be customised with very distinctive colours. The new app looks very sleek, and you can customise the icons with colours, but the pastel colour scheme makes it difficult to identify the right “button” when you are “on-the-go”. And the icons are very small in comparison to G-Remote. Reason for this observation is because we have an entrance, exit and pedestrian gate buttons and we need to chose the right one very quickly when at the estate gates. The larger icons and distinctive colours helped with this. I hope this is constructive feedback. Otherwise it works great.

The app works great. I would love to be able to open my gate via watch or have a widget available for ease of use. It’s a bit difficult when approaching my gate to unlock the phone, open the app, then to open the gate. Geo-Actions is not viable option as I would like to check if it’s safe before opening the gate. Other than that, I love the app.

Had no problems configuring this app and it is easy to use. It just works! I now even have access to features that are not generally available unless specially programmed to the limited buttons available on the remote.

I upgraded to the new app and am happy that there are real time notifications relating to the system status. With load shedding, MTN are down regularly in our town, and this lets me know for staff entering the complex. Would like to see a stand-alone add on SIM for the older systems
