Description
The Sanlam app provides an overview of all of your Sanlam products. Access key information, manage your portfolio and make transactions right in the app.
Documents and paperwork are on-hand, with access to contracts, statements and tax certificates. You can also upload and keep your important documents safe in your document vault.
Admin is made easy with the ability to update your personal information, find your intermediaries contact information and track the progress of service requests.
How it works
Register or sign in to the app using your ID number or Sanlam username to set up your personal profile.
Set up a pin or enable fingerprint ID for the app and rapidly sign in on your next visit. Securely access your portfolio of Sanlam products and engage with the individual business units to view detailed information and transact online.
There is no need to register on another platform. When you purchase additional products, everything will be automatically included here.
The Documents section allows you to download Agreements, Statements and Tax Certificates for the last 5 years and also your Will held at Sanlam. It provides an online Document Vault where you can upload and securely store personal, financial and estate related documents.
Your personal and contact information that we have on record, is provided in a single view. You can make changes in one place and these are submitted to all the business units that should be updated.

Ratings and Reviews
Infinite loading on Credit screen and scrolling.
Just downloaded the app and tried the credit profile screen. On presentation, the screen presents a full screen loading. When the data is successfully retrieved, I see it update(graph with data and other details) however the loading indicator does not dismiss.
Furthermore the portfolio screen has a weird scroll issue that allows for both vertical and horizontal scroll(including navigation bar items such as the hamburger menu and user profile button).
Not Good Enough
A big and resourceful Organisation like Sanlam should honestly be able to produce a better App than this. It is dog slow and half of the features return errors. A basic requirement to update a beneficiary should be in working order. Also, if an error occurs, you have to close the whole App and start from scratch…really??? Do better please!
Getting worse with each update
The app was working fine, then the updates started. First it got slower, then it gave errors when navigating to certain areas, now (Apr2024) it is at a point where it just hangs and cant be used. It just shows a circle running, but does not progress past this point.
