Safe Dayz

I must say I was very sceptical when I heard about the new feature Safe Dayz being introduced to the app but once I started understanding how it works I turned into a better driver,I am more aware of my driving and just realized how bad of a driver I was before,ma and my fiancé both use it and must say it’s quiet interesting to see who between the 2 of us is a better driver not to mention how much petrol money we actually saving which is an added bonus 😉

I’ve been using safe days for 5+ years on various versions of the App in the past and this last 6-12 months have been the worst App performance ever. I have had several months where no safe days recorded the whole month. Logged multiple support tickets with Momentum, some go completely unanswered. Sometimes when the App updates the locations settings stop working and the only way to fix it is to delete the App completely and reinstall it but then I’ve lost on a whole months’ safe days. During April 2025 no days were recorded for the whole month despite the App popping up with a notification when I start driving that it is recording. I am fed up and now don’t even bother trying to get the App working properly. It glitches and crashes all the time. What is the point of having a benefit with Momentum when their App doesn’t work and record properly.

Quick efficient & effective. I was Previously on Discovery but left because Discovery does not pay for a recognised Chronic medication even though they recognise the Chronic condition ADHD out of main benefit. Momentum pays for the medication and not from savings like Discovery. I have found the other giant medical aid company a bully and that find any technical reasons not to cover & pay.Please Momentum make an arrangement with Dr Martie MF Landman & Associate to pay for Dr Visits to avoid patient paying upfront and then getting patient reimbursed. They already have arrangements with Discovery, CAMF and another. Why not Momentum who’s is better than all of them.

The app is very difficult to navigate.I’m trying to book a local flight. Impossible. I can find eg FlySafAir. Can’t tap on it.The explanation seems easy. It does not work. Exceedingly frustrating.You used to be able to click on a “book flight”. This is no longer available.My active days DO NOT upload on a regular basis. Having to do a recharge score by 8am is ridiculous. It regularly says there is a problem and it has to be re-done. On Monday I did the test 3 times before it finally registered. Twice it told me the measurement was complete but it didn’t register. This is enough to make anyone’s pulse go through the roof.If you do not have internet connection you can’t do the measurement. This does not seem fair. The more you measure anything the more you have to do. Eg. Active days and recharges. The moving goalposts are most frustrating.The app is not user friendly at all anymore.The app needs to be revised.
