Premieres September 25.

Utopia

‣ When a copy of the legendary comic book Utopia is found, Wilson (Desmin Borges) and friends are among the many who want to see its life-altering, potentially prophetic pages. In case you missed it…

PEN15

‣ Middle school is no joke—but the comedy PEN15 captures the tween years with warmth and cringeworthy accuracy. Comedians Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle play 13-year-old versions of themselves, attending high school in the year 2000. The 14-episode second season tackles challenges like sleepovers, pool parties, and crushes.

Long Way Up

‣ When he’s not acting, Ewan McGregor loves traveling the world by motorcycle with his best friend, travel writer Charley Boorman. In this exhilarating new docuseries, the duo rides electric Harley-Davidsons from South America to Los Angeles.

Wireless

‣ After a car crash, a 21-year-old played by Tye Sheridan (X-Men, Ready Player One) finds himself stranded in the Colorado mountains with nothing but his smartphone to help him—and the battery’s running low. Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Eleven) executive-produced this bite-size Quibi thriller, designed to view on your iPhone.

We Are Who We Are

‣ From Luca Guadagnino, director of Call Me By Your Name, comes a similarly aching coming-of-age story set on an American army base in Italy. The nine-episode drama stars newcomers Jack Dylan Grazer and Jordan Kristine Seamón, as well as Chloë Sevigny and rapper Kid Cudi.

The Third Day

‣ This six-episode drama is set on a mysterious island off the British coast, inhabited by locals with an affinity for rituals—and a dislike of strangers. Divided into two parts, the moody and atmospheric miniseries stars Jude Law and Naomie Harris as two outsiders who must play by the islanders’ rules...or else.

Woke

‣ Lamorne Morris (New Girl) stars as Keef in this surreal, semi-animated comedy inspired by the life and work of cartoonist Keith Knight, who challenged systemic racism in his comics. An unsettling encounter with the police changes Keef’s perspective—and his art.

Power Book II: Ghost

‣ The criminal-underworld drama Power concluded in February after six seasons. Now come the sequels. The first of four planned Power spin-offs, Power Book II: Ghost, follows Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) dealing with the fallout of his father’s murder. Expect the return of Power favorites Mary J. Blige, Naturi Naughton, and maybe even Ghost (Omari Hardwick) back from the dead.
