The app states in its privacy disclosure that very little information is shared. Also, on the website, they state that your information is only stored in iCloud (your iCloud account), so that deleting the app will delete all of your personal information. However…the app ALSO makes you agree to terms and conditions involving the upload of data to OpenAI. Think about that…your personal journal, with all of your thoughts, your feelings, your life events…shared with the LLM that is accessible, for free, by billions of people. AI models have been shown to be incredibly hackable by means none of us would have ever imagined; I don’t want my most private thoughts being shared with one.

- you can now sign up for our newsletter right from the app — find it in your profile. subscribe and you'll even unlock a special badge for it.
- we've added deeplinks to weekly themes and library categories, so you can jump straight to your favorite content from links we share.
- fixed a handful of crashes: one when rating journal templates, one in the meditation setup flow, and one when picking journaling suggestions. also fixed mood check-in editing not showing up correctly in your journey.
Probably no need to mention because that's done with every release, but we've also included some more or less minor fixes to keep the app going bug-free. till next time!

only good things coming your way with this one. a lot has changed, so let's get to it right away:
- added a new batch of weekly themes with daily prompts as thought-provoking as ever.
- improved ai check-in reactions - the encouragements you get after a check-in now work across all your metrics, custom ones included.
- made journaling prompts smarter - ai prompts now read the room much better as they adapt to the category you're writing in and the time of day, etc.
- fixed a few things such as: infinite loading during check-ins on older ios versions, dark/light mode for pop-up images, meditation problems (completion stats, animations), and some recurring crashes here and there.
we hope this update makes your journaling more satisfying and calming, especially during mental health awareness month. take care of your minds and till the next time!

this one is a seriously packed update. a lot was done, so let's get straight to it:
- your profile got a tune-up: we moved the daily check-in, morning, and evening reflections customization options there;
- there's now a plus button above the tab bar on the today screen so you can access new options more easily;
- we've added a whole new batch of your beloved weekly themes;
- we also brought back the trends tab (some of you really missed it).
now about fixing stuff: some of you reported missing journals and history entries — those are now back where they belong. we've also fixed some crashes and freezes, improved focus notifications, journey reloading, and the pull-to-refresh feature. and for the mac app, we fixed a bug that made it impossible to open the photo library.

- redesigned and improved voice memos: we’ve upgraded the voice memos experience, so recording spoken journal entries should be smoother, easier, and more reliable.
- nicer first check-in experience: we’ve improved the first check-in flow. although this mainly concerns our new users, we figured — why not mention it here.
what have we fixed?
- an issue that could cause the app to freeze for some users,

this release brings you a fresh, big batch of daily inspiration content, including new weekly themes, new quotes, and more. we’ve also added some fixes and improvements: you’ll now find check-ins and badges in the journey filters, plus some UI tweaks to give the app a cleaner look.
