The App doesn’t sync properly with old App

Currently stranded from using the new app because my data from old app wasn’t transferred. My saved cards, wallet, my SOCAR points… everything not there in the new app. No record of previous reservations. Difficult to reach live chat agent on this app too. Just a bit faster but other than that very annoying compared to the previous app where booking a SOCAR would take less than a minute and in this it’s a struggle to find when the SOCAR is going to even be available at a certain zone. I don’t know why we are forced to migrate to new app when it’s not even stable enough to handle the load as basic as the previous app could.

Hi Usama, we truly appreciate your valuable feedback. Upon checking, our team has already transferred your remaining points to your SOCAR Wallet, however, you may not be able to check your previous reservation anymore. Essentially, you can always reach out to our Live Chat directly by typing 'chat with agent' and then 'connect now' so that we can assist you to check on your past reservations. Hope this helps :(

New Apps is not friendly

I’ve been experience using Socar for about a year. It was excellent until they change to new apps and features. I book a car and when I need to extend return time, the car will be automatically power off the engine, all the warning light will turn on the meter screen, the brakes not function. It is very dangerous if I’m on driving that time. Then I need to stop somewhere to restart again the car until it backs to normal. The moment when I wanted to do the inspection before return the car, and then times up, suddenly couldn’t click or submit anything while do the inspection. How are you all going to know that I already inspect the car? It is super hassle and I understand that this new features for the security purpose. And there’s a one time I went to fill up the fuel and left the phone inside the car, the car is automatically lock and I can’t open the door. That time hardly to reach the customer service and only reachable thru live chat, it is super not friendly. I am not happy with this new app.

Pertaining to your first concern about the car, kindly be advised that the car will only shut off if you're unreachable and do not return the car for a certain period of time. However, in this case, we believe it's a car/battery issue. Should you encounter the same problem again, please contact us on Live Chat immediately so we can assist you further. Apart from that, regarding the second and third issue you've raised, we will be escalating this matter to the team for improvement. If the inspection photos upload issue still persists on your next reservation, can we trouble you to take a screenshot/screen recording of the app so we can flag the issue accordingly? Thank you.

Get Charge but cannot access the car

I booked the car today at KTM Petaling from 9:20 PM to 10:20 PM. All good from start booking and car inspection, but until I need to open the car with the “newest” smart keys. The smart key doesn’t work. I reached out help centre from live chat but they’re responding like nothing happens. I asking to canceled but they’re just take their time 10-20 min to replied. I’m waiting for 1 hour but no response/ no problem solving that made win to win solution about this. They’re just said “I apologize for this but right now there’s some issues happening with our app”. Until I need to let go my money without driving even for 1 second on my booking timeline today and set the car in return situation to avoid the penalty. I don’t want to give extend hour just for waiting the customer service help. Is crazy the customer services just tossed my chat and I got 2 different user (Vithiya & Khaulshaillyah) just for solving the problem.
