First off, this game is completely about strategy. I've been playing since realm 39 (over 2 years ago) & I've made many great friends through this game, who I will keep playing with for years to come. So I'd say I'm fairly experienced & have the right to judge W&O. In my first realm (realm 39), there isn't much to say, I was just a noob who was figuring out the game, I still spent probably around $400. But in my second realm (realm 89) I spent over $2,000 (which really isn't all that much compared to some people, but I was still a top killer in that realm), it was fun for the time being, until real-life problems caused me to quit the game. In my third realm (realm 355), my old alliance (RSC!) convinced me to join them in starting a new realm. I made it a challenge for me to be a top player without spending any money. That was almost a year ago. With experience, strategy, & many farms I was able to compete with some of the biggest spenders I have ever seen (I'm talking $5,000-$30,000+). Granted it was during summer so I had quite a bit of free time, but I was still able to compete without spending, I was even rank 1 power in the realm for a few weeks. So to all the players who complain that spending is a problem & that W&O is a money-grab: with effort, strategy, experience, & farms (I had 15+) you can compete even the largest of spenders.Also as a side note, I credit W&O to many amazing moments: from infiltrating top enemy alliances & making them zero their own members, watching my own alliance (RSC) slowly rise to the top & get crown (after 2 years we finally got it!), and making lifelong friends (Dark & Buck & others!) with my alliance mates.P.S. I did play this game for about a month a few years back. actually I did enjoy it. I like the gameplay I like the graphics but the problem is you got those people out there they don’t think about how easy it is to destroy a server… unless it’s a kill event, there is no reason for anyone to zero someone unless a kill event! again all it does is make for a dead server.. so I quit. I wasn’t putting up with that because I do spend money on games. I probably would’ve spent a lot on this game because I did like it. Also… I keep reading reviews how people talk about not as advertised… if you have never played any of these games and your first every war game.. let me say that again, every wargame does it! they put up an ad that’s nowhere near the game You’re gonna play…. just the way it is….Also every one of these games to remain relevant. You’re gonna have to spend money. They are all the same. I have played over a couple hundred of these games some of the games. The only difference is that the early and middle game is not too bad for some games(But I’ve only found a few like that) but when you get to the late game.. every single game like this is the same, and to be honest, unless you can spend some money, there is no reason to play these games. You will just get frustrated! 😩 every single one of these games are pretty much for people who are gonna spend plain and simple. They might be free to start but to stay relevant. They’re not free to play! just the way it is! no need to complain about it. just don’t play them! Peace, love & light to all ❤️❤️❤️

I was initially prepared to give this game a 5/5 something I rarely do for games I really like. So this game is truly exceptional in its own version of a rinse and repeat process of older games like this but to me manages to bring something new and even special to the table that the many others like it didn’t. However, the reason for the now 3/5 stars is simply how far they are willing to go to try and get you to buy their in game currency with your real life money. If there was a meme that could explain this game it would say the following: “Great game, but Gimmicks, gimmicks everywhere.” In the classic toy story meme way. And while I understand that they need to make money off this outstanding piece of exceptional quality work. I also think that when you get to the point of making moving announcements on the top of the screen talking about features already heavily pushed such as the “Wishing Well” where you put in gems to get more back until they raise the minimum amount needed to activate it as a timed event that to continue it you have to buy the in game currency. And don’t even get me started on the many other little tricks they got going on to try and get you to buy if your a free to play kind of player... Look, the games amazing. I’ve met awesome people on there and the game itself is very enjoyable. But when you try to manipulate me to try to buy your stuff it not only dampens the experience as a whole.. The more you push the more I want to quit and take back any recommendations I made prior to other people. Please stop.

Only the bonus game let you actually play a mob game. You have to level up your castle to level up your castle to unlock stuff to level up to level up to level up. There’s way more farms and other things than usual and they have to be leveled up it seems like they also have a cap as unclear and Other than that you can’t set what kind of troops you want raise every single time I clicked on it it would accidentally go back to infantry and so I 1 or none buildings doing what I want and they don’t work. It’s very unusual to see something where you both build to train the same type of unit anyway the presets or have better pictures also, I can’t read it what it says it’s unclear there’s kind of a golden glowing thing and a thin no high contrast behind it and so it’s almost impossible to see what the level ups are or the times have until my troops are done I think that is no way was fun and it was unclear as to when ever ever I was going to get a set of troops for the world and I would have to login almost every single 30 minutes to raise more troops, which seems excessively more than other games specially when they’re the wrong because I wanted Calvary and I couldn’t find the search button at all and then one day it just showed up when they told me to kill a level five troop so I was struggling with finding any wood on the map together, and I felt like I was running out of resources almost immediately in the game sending all my guys gathering for days on and made very little difference
