I concur with my last review. Still 4 stars and I’d love to give it 5. I’ve been stuck on level 227 for over 2 weeks in spite of using tons of extras paid and gifted, to try and pass it. I’m going to once again delete the app and probably download it again in another 6 months. I’m hoping they will correct the difficult levels, to make them somewhat passable, so I can continue to play....I love Oprah! I also love the inspiration of the game. I would encourage others to download it as it is lots of fun to a certain point. This is the 3rd time I’ve downloaded it... I’ve deleted this game from my iPhone twice before. In the past it’s gotten challenging to the point I can’t go on. I’m not new to match 3 games... I’m in the thousands on levels on candy crush and gardenscapes. I’m excited the rewards system is being improved. I haven’t been able to download them and have been stuck on a level for quite some time. I was going to delete the game again, until I saw the latest update. I want to encourage the developers to continue their good work in making improvements. It’s a great start!

Great Concept but Game has Flaws!

In the beginning playing this game and uncovering the quotes was quite enjoyable. However, once you get to a certain point the levels consume upwards of 1-2+ weeks to solve and . As most people who play, we do so to de-stress from our hectic lives! In an effort to relieve our stressors we find ourselves purchasing additional gems and 2 (or 8) hour infinite lives that continue to run the clock and cannot be stopped/paused. I find this to be absurd! There should be a way to pause the infinite clock to allow your purchasers to cook, take care of their children, etc. without losing their hard earned cash. And to the reason why I decided to write this review....again I made another purchase a few days back and I have NO BOOSTERS that I paid for. The game tells me I’m logged in but my profile photo is now gone so there is apparently an issue with this app that is now preventing me from getting what I HAVE PAID FOR! If I want to log out and back in it tells me that my daily rewards will set back to day 1. I have literally lost more money than I even care to admit at this point. Advice, fix the issues that are essentially taking the money from your buyers, have the developers stop making the difficult levels impossible to solve (aka...controlling us for financial gain) and resolve the issue that has taken away our profile and gems and boosters we have paid to have. Otherwise I will find it necessary to remove the game and not look back. Thanks for hearing me out!

Trauma survivor warning

The one review I just read was titled “enjoyable to a point” I have to agree with that. I enjoyed many aspects of this game but continue to be concerned that Oprah would put her name on a game that triggers trauma survivors. Certain levels of the game contain vines that continue to grow and overtake the gameplay if you do not make matches to get rid of them. It becomes intensely overwhelming because there is no way to stop the vines if you don’t match up of them. They continue to grow and grow and grow and you can’t even get to them until you clear other stuff out of the way. Or somebody who is a victim of assault, Being powerless over the hand they are dealt, And no matter what they do to stop the attacker, the vines just keep coming. I have spent weeks on certain levels to pass them. I am at level 13for and it is creating more anxiety in enjoyment at this point. The other posts mention the power ups being different than other games. I have been frustrated with those as well because I have use them and they don’t work or the blocked areas. When you use it to make a tile Disappear on top of something, that’s literally all it does is disappear. You have to match three to make something go away. I have wasted a lot of power ups thinking it was going to remove a blocked area and all he did was get rid of tiles.

Enjoyable to a point

Clever of Oprah to combine elements of three popular games-Wheel of Fortune, Candy Crush and Trivial Pursuit. The power ups are a little different and the game itself is just difficult enough to be challenging without hanging the player up for weeks on end. . .until the Fireflies enter the field. Pardon my pun but I feel there is definitely a “bug” in the system here. The first level they appeared I passed the level without even knowing how I did it. The next level had me hung up for weeks, watching every tutorial I could find, copying the moves over and over without passing the level. I contacted support and was given a “pass” on that level but of course the next level included fireflies and it was no easier. The game was no longer enjoyable so I deleted the app and my progress of over 160 levels and started over - in hopes that all the complaints by other users would prompt an adjustment in the game. I guess I will find out when I get to that level again. If I see no improvement I will delete and find another app. Of course there are plenty of matching games to choose from; it’s just a shame that this one has some great unique features going for it.
