I’ve only been in this app religiously for a day trying to shop for a camera for my wife’s birthday present, but I’ve been on and off about on trying to get one cuz there were so many people wanting it and such a low supply, but today I said “let me really try for the next 24 hours” luckily canon has been dropping like crazy the past 24 hours, but a tip that helped me and might help someone out there, is that I realized last minute if you can somehow get to the check out(or by failing to buy because the stock went to 0 again, because you clicked the notification too late) and it says “0 left in stock” chill at the check out and wait for the next notification to appear, and it did appear within the next 2-4 minutes, and I believe the page refreshed automatically for me or I had to refresh it I forgot cuz I was stressed but I got through quick, pressed pay with Apple Pay made sure my info was all correct before all of this so it just scanned my face, mind you, this all happened within 10-20 seconds of that notification getting sent, but thank God, I got lucky with the notification and it went through Deleting this app now, but this app has been so helpful! Definitely going to use this again once there is something else we want that is low in supply, but hopefully this helps someone out there ✌

Ever since the new consoles released, I was really wanting the Series X. I would check on the websites every so often to see if I was lucky enough to see a random drop. Of course, I didn’t have any luck. One day, I was talking to a coworker about how I wanted one and how I don’t think I’ll get it until they don’t go out of stock in one minute. He told me, “well I have the perfect solution for you!” That day, he made me download HotStock. At first I was a little skeptical because it was a free app. I didn’t get the paid version of the app (which I believe gives you updates on stock a bit quicker) so I didn’t expect to snag one. On July 1, I got about 7 notifications 5 minutes apart about Walmart releasing the Xbox. The first restock, I wasn’t on my phone. The second one, I wasn’t quick enough to put in all my information. Just like what everyone says, the third time is the charm. After the third notification, I was able to buy it! I bought it while on FaceTime with a friend and he could just tell how excited I was! Not only that, Walmart was taking forever to ship the Xbox. I almost lost faith about actually getting it because I thought they were going to cancel it and ship it to someone else. However, this app allows comments on whatever product you want. I would talk to the people who ordered from Walmart. Some of theirs had shipped, others had not. Because of all theses peoples comments, we as users of the app, found faith that we were going to eventually get the product! I could not recommend this app any less! It’s amazing! I wish I could high five the developers of this app! It’s been really hard to find/purchase a new PS5 console since the new drops have come out, especially since Christmas. Seriously, anytime a store releases them, the consoles sell out within minutes! I recently got back into gaming after being an 80’s and early 90’s gamer (Super Nintendo) and found out that playing PS4 changed my life and helped with grieving my dad’s death. So, finding a PS5 has been on my list and it’s been super hard to snag one! I found this app two days ago and it alerted me when and which stores had the console in stock. I had the free version for a few hours and it’s awesome, seriously. Sadly, I couldn’t snag the PS5 on the first day because it sold out within like a minute or so - no joke. Someone in the comments of the thread recommended upgrading to premium (it’s seriously ridiculously cheap) and the app will alert you before the free version gets the notification. Also, the notification options are super awesome so there’s no way you’re going to miss when any product is in stock! I finally snagged the PS5 this morning and I’m really thankful that someone in the threads of the app told us a timeframe of the next drop for Target was going to be, however on the premium version we got alerted at the EXACT moment when they dropped. I’ve had no issues with the app and the users are really helpful within the threads. You can tell that the folks behind this are really genuine and care about us folks trying to find items that may be nearly impossibly to guess when they will be released. Thanks guys, this was a great way to start my 2021!!!

Autobuy feature didn’t work for me. Had several missed opportunities to buy product I wanted but relied on the autobuy feature that I paid extra for to get it for me. Maybe it wasn’t set up right but the instructions aren’t very clear for “all” the steps to set it up properly so I had to guess what to do in order to set it up and it didn’t work for me. I followed the steps it gave me and after several drops without successful purchases I started to realize that there was some other settings that had no instructions for what to do. If I had a notification that said it failed to purchase do to stock not being available I would’ve atlast known that it was set up right just didn’t get lucky on the purchase and that would’ve been fine but I had no idea if it was even trying to autobuy anything. You’re better off sticking to regular notifications without paying for the premium membership and trying to buy what you want manually when the alerts come in. That’s how I was able to get what I was looking for. It’s almost impossible to purchase hot items without trying for several days sometimes weeks or even months depending on what you’re looking for because of all the bots. Other than autobuy not working for me this app is Great! If I didn’t pay for a feature that didn’t work in the first place I would’ve given this app 5 stars.
