Crossbar has been working great for us. It makes communicating and staying informed as a team an easy task. One thing on mine is that sometimes it doesn’t inform me of new notifications unless I reload it once or twice, but otherwise, I have no complaints and have really enjoyed crossbar for our hockey team.

Overall crossbar is good, however the biggest thing I miss from using Teamsnap is that crossbar doesn’t have the saved group email function. As a team manager, I send out emails with attachments or lots of information that I don’t want filling up chat. Under a messages button should be chat and email. That way when I send emails they are saved and parents can go back and look at the information. For example emails about hotel blocks, tournament instructions, complete schedule attachments, photo order forms, etc. Please create this in crossbar and then it might be just as good as TeamSnap and would get five stars.

I gave feedback on this a few years ago, but we still see notification issues on iOS related to chat messages from team members.One issue is that sometimes a notification will appear and immediately clearly without anyone clearing it. This does not happen a lot but does happen on occasion.The biggest issue is that many times the notifications never come when someone times a message in the chat, you will not get a notification at all. You won’t see the message unless you remember to randomly look to see if you missed anything. This happens a lot but not all the time. This was my same complaint from years ago and it is seemingly never fixed.Finally, it would be nice to be able to delete a chat message as a team admin. On occasion there is a message that should not be sent to the team chat from a parent who should have known better.Please improve your app.

I’ve seen the improvements so far, so thank you, but a common complaint I’m getting is that messages bug out and post twice all the time and also that you can’t see the full team names. The team name is more of an issue because we have multiple program sessions of the same program so the start of the team name is the same. Can you have names scroll into view or resize if too large, or even let us turn the phone sideways to see the full name?Thank you
