Stations are sorted by distance and show upcoming arrival times, so you can decide which is your best bet. • Find out about service alerts such as delays, construction, and elevator outages. Super useful and easy to use. Ads are minimal and it really simplifies the tracking for everything. I don’t really care about the subway tracking but it’s super useful for bus and trains. I think that one upgrade to add would be to click on a stop on the map and see its name and have the option to then see the schedule for that stop because when I’m on the bus I want to know when to hit stop so that’s why the name would be helpful and the other is cuz it’s nice to just click on a stop you can visually see and then see the bus schedule. Otherwise tho it a very good app and I would recommend for any Boston commuter because the T website is so bad so thank you for making this app

I love many things about this app—the favorites list, so I can immediately see the timing of my most frequent buses, the ability to see the timing of any transit service in the location, which makes it easy to find something when not on my usual routes—but, lately, the app has not been working well, and frequently doesn’t show any times despite the buses being on a normal service. I have frequently been needing to open Google maps to see the timing of the buses, which has been showing the times when this app fails to load them. There have also been several instances where the timing is completely wrong, where, for example, the app will indicate that the next bus is not scheduled for 20+ minutes, so I start walking because I could likely beat the bus to the location in that amount of time, and within 2 minutes, a bus will pass by me. So, clearly there is some issue with communication between the MBTA buses and this app, so it would be great if that could be resolved.

Boston’s ancient buses & subways, Rapid-Transit above ground trains, and the MBTA commuter-Rail has for scores of years deviated chronically from their official-published schedules, arrives 6 or 7 minutes early at designated stops and invariably seeing few passengers, stops for whoever is there and proceeds to the next stop. This wreaks havoc with the times PROXIMITY pronounces as ex officio: reliable. Four years ago it it was of a magnitude greater then the official apps associated with the MBTA. Over 4 years there are refinements & improvements. The schedule deviations seem (especially regarding BUS service) to be weighted toward the MBTA’s putative schedule and does NOT appear to be a problem originating with the PROXIMITY APP.
Exceeds the MBTA’s haphazard mess.

This app has been invaluable in the past for making my commute easier. However, the app has not been updated to include the new Medford branch Green Line stations, which is a huge detriment as I visit Somerville fairly often and am thinking of moving there. Additionally, the stations on the Green Line D branch Westbound menu when selecting a new station are labeled all out of order and would be hugely confusing for users new to Boston. Please update the app so it can continue to offer us the helpful guidance it has in the past.
