Believe it or not this was an awesome game at one time. I started about nine months after it came out late 2015 and played till early 2017. I spent a fair amount but I had a great time and it wasn’t that bad but out of nowhere… they kept doing upgrades to everything to make what you bought last week obsolete.. now the reason why I quit is because they basically started the game all over because you had two different games you could go into.. the original & the newer version , which really was the old version… not knowing that they were gonna make that the only one available.. so everything I spent over about 2 years. all became obsolete. I don’t know how this game is still in the Apple Store. This company has been sued multiple times. Final Fantasy is another game that did the same too(Same company as this one, but one of their many different company names to hide who they are) and of course they’re original war game before this game, was one of the most popular ones of all time and they screwed that up by bringing this game out… I can’t remember the name of it, but I know lots of you probably played it…again, Apple, please remove this game so no one gets suckered into playing… the entire company and the umbrella companies.. should be kicked out of the Apple Store!

DO NOT PLAY PLEASE
Game is absolutely TRASH I spent $300 in a day and still wasn’t caught up to everyone. Then has to shield for days to “months” yes use a 30 day shield because I kept on getting raided by stronger bases who spent thousand just to stay caught up. The game never slows down you continue to have to pay to play or else you sit and wait till your shield drops and your base is burned in 1 hit. The community is also horrible they aren’t nice nor helpful. They definitely bully weak players and when you buy a $100 pack then they come 5 minutes later with another $100 pack in order to have enough resources to fight. Then after 2 days of playing they hit you with the $50 packs in order for you to upgrade your building to be strong enough like the big players. Then once you do that they hit you with another $100 pack to get new troops because they’re always upgrading the tiers of troops so if you don’t buy the troop pack you won’t stand a chance against the new troops. The game is designed for you to fail and if you don’t put your hard earned money and time into this game you will have to spend 10x more just to catch up and then have to continue the cycle. AGAIN DO NOT PLAY.

I quit playing this game because lately the servers have been acting strange. My game will crash, things disappear, my troops would cease to exist for some amount of time, only to reappear in my base in time for a player to attack me and kill them all. Packs cost 100usd and you don’t get much for them. And on top of that, after you spend 100 bucks on a pack, the game is too unstable to even make use of it. Luckily I never bought a pack so I feel no attachment to this game, but I know elderly people who have spent 10,000 dollars on this game, just to end up losing to someone who spent 20,000 on the game. Not worth it! Invest that money instead of spending it on a broken game that incentivizes paying 1000s of real world dollars. Their tech support is the worst I’ve ever encountered as well. Whenever I complain about something disappearing, or some bug causing me to get zeroed, their response is always the same; “buy more packs”. Yeah right. Why would I but even 1 pack for 100 bucks when the game is too trash to even play? No thanks. You’d think they would have legit tech support on a game that likely generates millions of dollars per month, but they don’t. Sad.

Observation: this game is not designed for casual players. It requires substantial investments of time and money to advance and remain competitive against other players. Gameplay is sufficiently sophisticated, but requires constant, near hourly play to maximize rewards. I spent about $1,000 USD and didn’t anywhere approach sufficient “leveling” to be competitive.Criticism: the game oppressively advertises “packs” priced at $99 each. For that cost, the developers failed to address app glitches that significantly hindered my play. Staff responded with canned emails directing troubleshooting steps, none of which worked. Further requests for support and compensation were ignored, with only a token statement: “we will forward this to the developers.” For the amount of money I spent I had a reasonable expectation for personalized service and assistance.I DO NOT recommend this game to anyone when both observations and criticisms are taken into account. Your money is better spent on apps by developers who take your complaints of dysfunctionality seriously, and who do not harass you with ads even after spending thousands of dollars.
