Go Recapp 4+

It is my first time to join and have our plastic bottles collected by the Super Mario look alike, Zeeshan Ali. He explained the policy and all, but I don’t understand why there are still deductions on the weights when the bottles are all empty. That is the collector’s job to ensure that all bottles are off of water/liquids. The target is 4kg per collection. If it is your first time, they will provide plastic bag. (I hope it is a recyclable plastic)

Nevertheless, it is such a nice advocacy, to encourage people to recycle and to have the company provide jobs to people.

Before Recapp introduced their membership system, recycling through the app was easy but not very rewarding. You could recycle your bottles and feel good about helping the environment, but the actual benefits — like rewards or incentives — were quite limited.

Recently, Recapp launched their new Membership Eco program. I just subscribed, and now I’m curious to see what real benefits it will offer. Hopefully, it makes recycling even more motivating with better rewards, discounts, or special offers. So far, the process remains smooth, and it feels good knowing you’re contributing, but I’m waiting to see if the Membership Eco tier really brings extra value compared to before.

I’ll keep using it and update after experiencing the full range of benefits!

it’s supposed to be a great way to support recycling but the app has been total laggy. I have been trying to book and there have been a number of lags and glitches that happened. First is it takes minutes for available schedule to show up. And when they show up, the second glitch happens and the confirmation does not go through no matter how many times you press the button. Tried reaching out via instagram and it takes them hours to reply.

I would somehow accept this if the subscription is free, but having a paid model means there are expectations to be met. Recycling has been incentive driven before, and now recapp even makes it harder to do so with paid model but glitchy services.
