This app is really convenient and helpful. Pretty easy to use and navigate. Lulu, if not always, often has very competitive prices compared to other grocery stores. I also experienced auto-refund without any hassle (received my money back within one week from the transaction day). Never had any problems with delivery also, has always been smooth.

A few things that I notice tho, it takes a bit of time to reload purchase history which I consider important part of repurchase and maybe loading time can be reduced. And there was this button that says ‘move to cart from wishlist’ which I find a bit annoying; perhaps you can add an undo button, because fingers can slip sometimes. Also, there are few items that may not be available for sale online. Overall, thanks to the developers.

2 years of on and off problems with the payment gate. Technical support doesn’t care anymore, no one comes back to me to resolve the issue. This app is the only place where the card, emirates NBD Lulu card doesn’t work. It works anywhere else in the world, online or offline, only Lulu sabotages it. I’m beyond fed up, getting advises such as “clear the cache” on an iPhone (nonsense) or reinstall the app. Lulu refuses to admit that the problem is on their side. Nothing worked, no one cares, I’m cancelling the card because I can’t use it for the only benefit I need, and have to go to competitors. The payment works flawlessly with Apple Pay using the same card, but then I don’t get any of the benefits for which I got the card in the first place, so why having it?? Secondly, the app constantly refreshes, sometimes the cart gets empty by itself, very often you find out that the item was out of stock only after they deliver. Delivery note comes with 2 days delay, as well as dispatch note. There’s much work to be done. Fix the payment gate, make inventory “live” and fix the refresh rate. The app is very slow and constant restart of the whole payment operation really does get on one’s nerves. App which cannot stay without refreshing for 5-10 seconds isn’t a good app. And the phone settings do absolutely nothing with it.

Unfortunately my experience was bad. Almost all of the items I purchased were bad. I ordered baguette and it came so hard like the bread wasn’t made fresh and kept for days. I ordered fresh daily juice and when it came it was from the day before. I ordered fresh cheese from a certain brand and when it came it was another brand. Not shopping here again.
