Exceptional service for sending remittance back home

Taptap Send has been an incredibly amazing resource for my as a PhD researcher and international students who serve as a Graduate Research Assistant, and who love sending money back home for supporting the family, covering educational expenses of my siblings, buying books for my nephews and nieces, and paying bills back home to reciprocate the kindness of my dear father, who has invested a lot in our educational journey and in our future. It’s the most easiest and convenient way to send money back home to my loved ones and the fun part is, they receive it within 5 minutes of the transaction completion. This is super helpful and I have referred this wonderful resource to a lot of friends already, and I am going to have 2 more referrals to complete 3 referrals between 23rd to 31st May, and claim $75 ($25 each referral) and additional $100 bonus . Worse customer service ever experienced.

Taptap is very good and smooth when you haven’t experienced any issue that needs the attention of customer care . I have send an email with my complaint and I only received an automated message acknowledging my message and over 6 days now I haven’t gotten anyone to see me through a minor change of name issue . Call their call center and you get automated messages not even an option to be put on a waiting list . I have contacted someone through WhatsApp and I wish I didn’t even waste my time texting over there . The person who responded Mohammad has not been of any help . I expected him to state specifically documentations I need to provide to support my name change or call me sort this simple name chat thingy out but he’s just enjoy responding to messages over 12hrs later expecting me to be online the very moment he’s available. I wonder if they are short stuffed or just the GH attitude of work they are putting up here . Dear business owners of Taptap pls take a serious look into customer service because your workers in this area are killing the business. Im really really disappointed in this services . As I’m writing this review my issue have not been resolved and it’s seems no one even cares . Seriously. I’m frustrated because after I started using Taptap I deleted all other money transfer apps and cleared all my passwords because I was enjoying Taptap until I encountered this issue with customer service. And here I am over 6 days now one is leading me on what do . Just a simple name change issue .

Unfinished app and careless customer service

Taptap send is an unfinished project and they are very careless of customers. Do not send your money through here!!! Initially I thought they will send money only to mobile money account but no, they will transaction to any phone number even if the user to not have an active mobile money account. I initiate a transaction base on the understanding that the transaction will not go through if the user doesn’t have an active mobile money account Mistake (unfinished app). With fess hours that the receiver told me that they can access the funds, I tried to cancel but again another issue here (customer do not have ability to cancel a transaction even within one minute of completion). I check the cancellation request process and contacted via email, WhatsApp and even call. Over a week of my request the transaction is still not canceled and they will give the same status of my request being escalated to their partner in Cameroon pending response (unprofessional and careless) they have not been able to set real expectations on when I will have my money back so this can take months!!! This money was for my mom health emergency and I can’t having back on time for her bills and médecines. Please do not use this app to send your money it will at your own risk, because they will not be able to assist you in case of issues with your transaction. Zero customer service!! Run with your money !!!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I sent money to Bangladesh via Taptapsend and didn’t receive 2.5% incentive because they used a third party partner for the transaction. When i called taptapsend customer service first time they asked me for recipient’s account statement as a proof that they didn’t receive the incentive. When i emailed them the proof they replied that Bangladesh govt. and recipients bank are responsible for this. Taptapsend can’t do anything about it. Then why the customer service agent asked for recipients account statement as a proof at the first place?! This proves that their customer service agents are not knowledgeable at all! Then taptapsend asked me to wait 2-3 weeks and if still do not get the incentive i can reach out to them. After 3 weeks i reached out to them and they told me the same thing again!! Then why they asked me to reach out after 3 weeks?! Same as account statement! when i contacted the local bank of the recipient they informed me that taptapsend used another 3rd party bank to transfer the money and that 3rd party bank refusing to give that 2.5% incentive. Now when i informed taptapsend that their 3rd party partner is causing this issue, they simply parroted the same thing about govt. and local bank and refused to acknowledge that their 3rd party partner is the culprit. I’m really disappointed about this horrible customer service. I used other money exchange services like RIA and this type of issue never happened. I will never use taptapsend again. Their customer service is the worst.
