Target 4+

First off been shopping at Target forever!!!! Now with pickup service and the app, OMG, I finally enjoy shopping again. From the little things like edit all and clear whole cart buttons, I love that! I wish more places did that omg, and I was sold on this app since that feature was added. Sometimes If I’m in a hurry, I want to make a quick list, and if you have to run into the store, pull up the cart, and if your app setup to your favorite store, you can find the items by location in the store cuts my time in half and gives me time to do some mindless shopping. However, this app isn’t perfect. The issue I find super odd is the layout of the Home Screen where you choose how you want to shop. If you shop and use pickup a ton, all your favorites and most bought items are at the top. You have to scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the category breakdown. I feel like a better lay of this or even better-put categories at the top. And your frequently purchased items in a carousel at the bottom, and then an option button like the target dog logo could be an action button for all the shopping options. And then, the main screen could be the shopping categories and pickup/Shopping list. Red card integration would be lovely but I drop that card like a hot pocket fresh from the toaster due to the lack of support. Then finally, it’s almost 2023. Could we please use our phones to self-check out. Like for real who wants to wait in line it’s not 1998.

Update, this app is by far the easiest, fastest, funnest, convenient app out there. I always compare other apps to the way this one works and I hold other apps to targets app standards. Very few match up with targets app; I mean like maybe one or two. My one gripe is that when I look back at my receipts in the app, I never fully understand how much I paid per item when there is a discount. It’d be nice if a discount was attached to the item in order rather than it just show at the bottom in one lump sum; for example, the printed receipts will show the discount attached to the item. Looking at my old review, cartwheel doesn’t exist anymore but the new and improved Target Circle and I love it! Very pleased!

Update: I love the target app. The pay with PayPal is awesome. And I love the way cartwheel works now. This app is ahead of the game in comparison to most other apps. Checkout is always a breeze now and convenient. It’s as if they want us to keep shopping wink* wink*. Why can’t we use cartwheel online!!?? So annoying that I couldn’t apply the discounts that I had with cartwheel. I buy online a lot so cartwheel would be great! Otherwise, I love the app. Very sophisticated and sleek looking. Easy to use for the most part. Another big dislike is when I get orders canceled due to unavailability. That’s frustrating.
