I’ve been using TIAA Bank for many years, ever since they took over the bank I was using. I’ve been banking online for many years also. I used to , whave trouble signing on when I was using browser. Nearly every time I tried to sign on, it would require me to do an extra security verification which was a CAPTCHA showing a square box containing pictures of objects. These pictures were smaller than a postage stamp. I was instructed to select a picture containing a certain item. I have a severe vision problem and was unable to do this unless I had someone here to do it for me. I called TIAA Bank to complain. The nice man I spoke with asked me if I was going through browser or using their App. I told him I was using browser. He suggested I try using their App. I got it immediately and never had another problem. I’m forever grateful to him for his trying to help me, because that CAPTCHA was driving me crazy.
Absolutely amazed at the lack of customer care regarding my paycheck
I signed up for a new account and got my card in the mail. I reluctantly decided to trust this bank with my direct deposit payroll and when it came time to get paid there was a restriction put on my account without notifying me therefore I did not get paid. And when I called in they said there’s nothing they can do, and said I’d have to wait. I requested to speak to someone immediately seeing as they have 24/7 customer service but I came to the realization that was a lie. And I would have to wait until Monday. Closed my account immediately as I will not do business with people who show a complete lack of care about their customers getting their money they worked hard for on time. So I will highly recommend you stay away from this institution and not trust them with your money. I learned that the hard way. Oh also their check deposit feature never worked on my app either and I got charged $50 from another bank for a failed transfer so this has cost me greatly and yet I never received the service I came here for. Stay away you’ll never see your money again. And be left high and dry. Interestingly I also have 300,000 Instagram followers and I’ve made a post about my issues with Tiaa. Im sure that should help prevent this issue from happening again to others.
Convenient, super easy, everything at your fingertips
Being new to ever having a retirement acct not to mention then within 6 months needing to process an emergency withdrawal from it I have had so many questions & had to process & submit numerous forms as well as communicate numerous times with agents and this app has saved so much time, stress and made this all so convenient! I was so impressed with TIAA & their continuing effort to make the customers lives easier and less stressful I have decided to completely switch over to TIAA for all my banking needs!!!! :) And like before TIAA & the app beyond exceeded my expectations!!! Compared to my previous bank (one of the largest and oldest in the US) I prefer TIAAs app mainly due to the quickness customer service responds if I need more answers!!!
