Description
The AsteraApp™ offers intuitive and fast control of complex lighting setups with fully customizable programs and effects. The App is also used to prepare Astera lights for wireless DMX by sending addresses and profilesto them. In addition, lamps can be diagnosed, updated or reset from the AsteraApp™.

Talkback+
Detect all available lights, set them up, check their status, configure DMX addresses and DMX profiles.
Seamless Runtime
Set the length of your production and be sure that your lights won`t run out while still getting the maximum brightness.
Effects
Quickly build programs out of colors and effects, trigger them or make them match a beat.
Targets
Quickly create groups of lights, assign positions and select which lights should receive commands.
Scheduled StandBy
Switch lights into power-saving standby and schedule them to wake up when the production starts.
Dynamic PowerBoost
This exclusive feature makes the light able to display the maximum brightness at all time and intensify non-white colors.
Green/Magenta Correction
Adjust green/magenta during content creation to reduce postproduction work.
Emergency Lights
Switches to white light when AC power is cut to keep your event save
DJ Feature
Auto BPM analyzes the beat and matches programs to it, flash buttons can trigger special effects while being held down.

Unreliable Bluetooth control
As another had complained, the app constantly berates me to turn on Bluetooth even when I’m not running the app. Then when using the app, connectivity to an astera box will drop frequently. You must check the box to leave the screen on and never leave the app. If you do either, expect a long process of manually removing the Bluetooth device from IOS and adding it again from within the app. Tested on multiple devices, all with same response. Please fix!
Nope
This app is horrendous. I’m currently sitting on the concrete on the ground floor of a parking garage on a holiday weekend trying to update all of these Titan tubes and the app just won’t cooperate. I’ve been in the lighting world for 20 years and I’ve never met a more frustrating system. I have 72 titans running. 48 were running fine all day then all of a sudden the Art7 transmitter decided to update in the middle of the day. After the update, 43 of my tubes are not showing up in the app now. They are rigged in housings that are mounting the concrete ceiling. They can only be reached with a lift. All of the other technicians have gone home and here I am dealing with this garbage software. Fix what is broken before you add more junk. You’re wasting my weekend. Thanks for nothing.
Constant Bluetooth notifications
Why does this app constantly notify me to turn on Bluetooth to connect to devices? Like every couple minutes when my screen is on and the app is not even running. Very annoying. Not all of us want our Bluetooth on constantly. Will uninstall because of this annoyance.
