Telemarketers make 148 million annoying, time-wasting calls per day according to consumer-group Private Citizen and do-not-call lists (where available) do not work (and weren’t even meant to for many types of telemarketers) according to governments themselves. The app blocks unwanted telephone calls not iMessage, SMS, or MMS messages. To enable Callblock to block calls:
1. tap the “Settings” app,
2. tap “Phone” > “Call Blocking & Identification”, then
3. toggle the “Callblock” switch on.
To unblock calls, go to the “Callblock” app. To add, remove, or reclassify a missing or misclassified caller, tap the “Add caller” button.
Enabling Callblock or making changes in the app may require up to a minute to take effect.

So, I had the app set to BLOCK but kept getting telemarketer calls and thought it wasn’t working. I recently set it to IDENTIFY to let the calls through but identify them and I realized it was stopping calls. Unfortunately, a lot still come through, but if this even stops just half of them, to me it’s worth the couple bucks a month to keep it. To the company: the reason I didn’t go 5 stars is because you should be able to open the app and see that it’s blocked calls. Even if Apple won’t let the app know the number that was blocked, just knowing it stopped a call on XXX date/time would let us know it’s doing its job.

The simplicity of the app is its greatest feature. The app gives you step by step instructions on how to set up the call blocking feature through iOS and allows you to add numbers to block once in the app. I get so many calls from fraud rings in Michigan that call and say you've won something and in turn grab your information and steal your identity. With this app I have been able to easily block the numbers so I don't have to keep denying the call. It's also nice to note that the app itself blocks over 3 million numbers from known tele-marketers around the world. There is a nominal fee associated with the app after the free trial but it's very affordable and acts like a monthly payment through the App Store like my Apple Music and Netflix account fees. There are no ads ( thank god! I hate apps with ads) and no surprise charges after the monthly or annual fee is paid. I'd recommend this to anyone who receives tele-marketing or annoying phone calls from unwanted callers.
App is amazing, but I’m having one issue

The app works just as advertised. Since I downloaded the app, I haven’t received any unwanted calls. The only problem is that I’m on call at my job. I have my job saved in my contacts. However, the app blocks my job from contacting me. It’s been twice so far where my job has tried to call me in to work, and weren’t able to get through. How can I get the app from blocking my employer?

When you first download the app, you are walked through step by step on how to use the app. You have to setup the free trial (which is definitely worth it) and it functions just like the full version. I advise purchasing the full version because this app is great. The pre-loaded 3,000,000 numbers it blocks has worked excellent so far for blocking unwanted calls.I love that there are no ads too. Th ability to add numbers you want to block is awesome. I have no complaints so far about the app. The full version is affordable, and there are no surprise fees. 5 stars from me!
