The Edge Wallet application requests access to the device contact list, and personal information. This information is used on the device to provide an improved user experience in the following ways:

I’ve been messing around a bit with stocks and crypto since the beginning of corona and I’ve always used edge cause of convenience, low fees, and overall it was just great until recently where I lost just about 600 usd In dogecoin because the app refuses to resync and it just says I have zero transactions though I know I have a minimum of around 10 or so from exchanging the crypto back and forth with other cryptos from my day trading. I submitted a ticket and so far have no response but I pray I get a response to this or to my ticket at least. I’m losing out on so much profit cause my portfolio is broken and I need it working again desperately.

Disclaimer * I’m by no means an expert with crypto or managing my “wallets”. So I’m not the best one to review the functionality of the app and all it has to offer. However, I felt compelled to leave a review because of the excellent customer service I received when I had a problem figuring out how to receive my incoming Ether transfer I did from Top Shot. I sent an email to customer service with very little expectations of even getting a response. To my surprise I got a response in a very timely manner. I still wasn’t able to get it to work right away and had to email them a couple more times, but the their responses were very quick and helpful and I had my issue fully resolved very quickly. This was the best customer experience I’ve had in the crypto space hands down. Usually it takes weeks to even get a response from other companies and it usually just ends with them saying “sorry for your problems” but no resolution. It is a great comfort to know that they will help you figure out any issues you come across and that your money won’t be lost in thin air. Thank you Edge! Well done🍻
I’m no cryptocurrency expert but I invested in Bitcoin in 2017 (best decision ever). I originally set up my account on Airbitz which became Edge. There have been three times I’ve needed to communicate with them over the years and although it may take a couple hours tops for a return call they always call back quickly.
Every time I’ve spoken to an Edge employee I have never felt rushed, not even for a moment. They take their time and ensure your questions have been answered or issues resolved. I wish I wrote down the names of the first two edge employees I spoke to but I didn’t and at this point those conversations were ages ago. What I CAN say is that I spoke to RJ today and he addressed every question I had for nearly an hour, and he did it with kindness and patience.
I’m a big fan of Edge and would highly recommend them, especially if you’re feeling abandoned with your current exchange in your ability to speak to a human. Crypto is complicated. We should all have questions and in my experience Edge will be there to answer them.
