This update brings one of the most requested features to IceBuddy: heart rate insights! Now you can see how your body responds to the cold in real-time with detailed stats and graphs when using the watchOS companion app. What's New: • Heart Rate Insights: If you’re using the watchOS companion app during your plunges, you’ll now see heart rate stats and interactive graphs right inside IceBuddy • Cold Plunge Details screen redesign: A fresh, cleaner, and more intuitive look for your plunge details screen • Streamlined Apple Health sync: The watchOS app now syncs to Apple Health the same way as the iOS app does • Guest user bug fix: Fixed a rare issue where guest users could crash or see missing data if the app was offloaded to iCloud. What's New: • Apple Health Sync: Turn on Apple Health in settings, and your future cold plunge sessions will sync automatically. Save them as Workouts, Mindfulness sessions, or both. Sharing just got even better! • Share Past Plunges: You can now share any of your past cold plunges, whether from the cold plunge details screen or directly from your feed. Relive your best plunges and inspire others! • Clearer Photo Upload: We’ve increased the camera icon size, making it clearer you can add a photo before sharing. • Easier to Tap Buttons: Buttons (especially in the corners) now have a larger tap radius, so they’re easier to press. A couple of bugs slipped through in the last update, and we know how frustrating that can be. Here’s what we’ve fixed: • Cold plunges failed to save when selecting an outdoor session without granting location permission. This is now fixed. • Plunges recorded with the watchOS companion app weren’t saving properly—we’ve resolved this issue, so your sessions will now sync correctly. We messed up, and we're truly sorry. We’re introducing User Accounts. By creating an account, your cold plunges will now be safely stored and synced across all your devices. You won't have to worry about lost data if you uninstall the app or switch phone. This also lays the foundation for our first Community Features: Soon, you’ll be able to find and follow your friends to stay inspired and motivate each other. Stay tuned! In this version, we’ve listened to your feedback and made exciting updates: • Indoor & Outdoor Plunges: Track your sessions more accurately by choosing between indoor or outdoor plunges. Outdoor sessions will record the outside temperature (requires location access) • Overhauled session start screen on Apple Watch: You can now select the water temperature and whether it’s an indoor or outdoor session. These settings will be remembered for future sessions too • For the extreme cold plungers, we’ve decreased the minimum temperature to 0°C (32°F).
