I use the app/plugs for the most basic needs: setting on/off timers for decorative lights, the Christmas tree, etc. I have several of the plugs around the house... they work great, were really easy to set up, and using with the app is really nice. I’ve never had to try anything more sophisticated but for my needs it does the job just fine. My only complaint is I wish it would at least offer an option to use 12-hour time instead of 24-hour time. I always have to count on my hands to remember what’s what; very annoying. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the app and the devices!

This switch (mixpad d1) with this app isn’t ready for any use other than a switch. It’s matter capable but can ONLY control its own devices. It cannot handle anything setup in your matter system. It cannot make a scene with your other matter devices. Worst is in the display options on the switch - you can turn on a single button at the bottom of the display - but it can’t be customized or changed to something else (like a scene or automation) - it’s only function can be to turn the switch on. Which is INSANE since there is a physical switch right below it. The app (which is what this review is likely attached to) doesn’t allow ANY customization of the switch. You can only do that on the switch itself. With some software updates this switch could be great as it sets up easily, has a great display and with matter could be a great controller.

I’ve been using the ORVIBO Home app for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how convenient it is! The remote control feature is a game-changer—I can manage all my devices from anywhere, whether I’m at work or traveling. I also love the scheduling options; being able to set timers for my lights and appliances makes my life so much easier.The sunrise and sunset settings are my favorite feature. It’s incredibly practical to have lights automatically adjust with natural daylight—it saves energy and creates a cozy ambiance without me lifting a finger. Overall, the app is user-friendly and works exactly as it should. Highly recommend!

It may seem somewhat expensive even when compared to other wireless 3-way switches, but I’ve used two other brands over the years and this is by far the best implementation. The long range 2.4 GHz WiFi frequency and lack of a requirement for batteries or available power wiring for the remote is terrific. But it also operates correctly every time, which others rarely did. The remote control software, while not vital, also works correctly.Just order it and be done with your search.
