I bought this app a couple months ago and it is the best investment. Not only is the app wonderful but when I was having issues with the sound when I was trying to talk to my dogs I emailed Martin who created this app and he responded immediately. He continued to email back and forth with me for a couple of weeks in order to help me with this. It is working now and I cannot say enough good things about Pet Monitor. My 10 month old puppy escaped her kennel-something that has never happened to me with any other dog I have ever had. I received the alert for movement and when I looked at the screen she was out. As we are still working in potty training as well as an extremely mischievous puppy that chews, I left work and headed home-takes me about 1 hour 15 min. She had gotten up on the table and had eaten all of the medicine that I had ordered per the vets suggestion for both of my dogs. One per day for her and she opened the canister and ate the remaining chew pills which was over 100. I called the vet immediately and with their help as well as the call they made to verify what they felt with the manufacturer I was told they were not toxic and she will probably throw up or go the bathroom excessively. I thank Martin and the Pet Monitor app for my puppy being ok as if they had been toxic I would not have been home for at least 4-5 more hours and may have been too late. I have purchased things before and when you contact someone they do not even respond--Martin responds!!!! Thanks again Martin for this amazing app, I use it every time I leave the house!!!!

My friends call me a helicopter dog mom, and this app is giving me so much peace of mind about my dog’s safety when I’m not home. I have a huge and mostly irrational fear that there will be a fire when I’m not home and Bill will be stuck inside. I live in an apartment so putting in a whole home security system with fire alerts and stuff seemed a little much for some place I don’t own. I was going to buy some Nest cameras but then I found this ... I already have an iPad and an extra iPhone, so I thought why not give it a try! It is SOOOOOOOO great! It works incredibly well. There is nothing I would improve - seriously. I also emailed the company to ask a question and they sent me the best email back answering my question perfectly. The basic way the app works is it alerts me if there is any movement or noise (you can choose if you want it to alert you to both) and it takes a picture when the movement/noise starts. At that point I go to the live feed to check out what my little guy is up to. It would definitely hear the fire alarm because it is sensitive enough to hear my heat kick on. Sometimes I just leave the live feed going in my office and it’s so calming having him sleep right there on my desk on my phone. Yes - crazy dog mom. It really gives me piece of mind - I can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve had no technical difficulties and it was super easy to set up. You can also talk to your pet through it if you want...which I don’t think you can do with the Nest camera. Thank you for making such a great app! You’ve done an excellent job and really thought of everything that will matter to the user.

We were beside ourselves. We were so afraid our neighbors were going to complain. I read the reviews Then purchased and installed Pet Monitor on my iPad and phone. We left the apartment and waited for the first bark. As soon as she started barking I reassured her over the voice command to stop barking and lay down. She immediately stopped!! A few minutes later another notification - same thing. After three or four times she finally got the feeling that someone was with her. Now we have peace of mind that when we leave if she barks I will get a notification and I can calm her down with my voice through the iPad. It has been so liberating for us to be able to explore a new city and know that our dog is not stressed and is calm at home. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this awesome life-changing app.

This needs some fine tuning before it’s a 5 star. How about multiple select and delete all option to delete all the photos in the activity log. Also, changing the password took 6 tries before it actually worked. I also don’t see where I can add on devices. Also, under the devices section, there’s nothing there - not even my own devices that I am currently using. The monitor and camera seem to work fine - just fine, not great. It would be great to be able to auto-focus and have different filter option for lighting situations in the space I’m monitoring (due to windows and sunshine, etc.). The talk back button didn’t work well at all and I had both devices on full audio. It would be great to take pictures in real time of monitoring - if that is an actual option offered, that too didn’t work for me. I’m using this to monitor my senior dog who has an autoimmune disease so it’s important to have a good app that has versatility. This one is just ok - also, the time between when my dog moved and when I got a motion alert was extremely lagging.
