Use Firefox Focus for everything you want to keep separate from your main browser — for all those get in get out and forget about it moments. No tabs, no fuss, no muss. Block ads and online trackers too. One tap, and your browsing history is completely destroyed.
Blocking distracting ads also means faster page loads which means Focus gets you where you want to go a lot faster. Firefox Focus is the perfect get in/get out, search and destroy, I’m on a mission that’s none-of-your-business — web browser.
NEW DISTRACTION-FREE DESIGN
When you open Focus, you just get the awesome bar and the keyboard for super quick searching. That’s it. No recent history, no past sites, no open tabs, no ads, no distractions. Just a simple, minimal design with menus that make sense.
ONE TAP TO DELETE HISTORY
Erase your history, passwords and cookies with just a tap of the trash button.
CREATE SHORTCUTS
Pin up to four shortcuts on your home screen. Get to your favorite site even quicker without typing anything.
FASTER BROWSING WITH AD BLOCKING & TRACKING PROTECTION
Firefox Focus blocks many ads you’d normally see on web pages so you get much faster page load speeds, which means you get to the stuff you want a lot faster. Focus also blocks a wide range of trackers by default, including social trackers and those sticky ones that come from things like Facebook ads.
BACKED BY A NON-PROFIT
Firefox Focus is backed by Mozilla, the non-profit that fights for your rights on the web, so you can trust it not to sell your data.

I've used them all. The new updates to this one made it so the cursor is automatically in the search box so you can just start typing or talking. The browser is super fast and only once or twice have I been on a website with a captchya or something that didn't show up so Inhad to switch to the phone's default app in those rare instances. Everything else has displayed fine including videos, images, and live streams. Browse all you want, as soon as you navigate away the screen goes dark on app until you make it full screen again. So ifbyo were flipping through your open apps, nothing shows until you select the app. Hit the "Erase" button to simply delete browsing history whenever you want, although it does the same thing automatically whenever you close the browser. The only thing I don't like about it is the same thing I don't like about most mobile browsers: DEVELOPERS PLEASE INCLUDE THE TOUCH EQUIVALENT OF CONTROL+F in future updates. There's nothing more annoying than being on a website that you chose for a specific search result and then being unable to find the relevant info quickly because of mounds of condensed text in the mobile format. I like to find info fast, not read entire books online on mobile sites. Would be great to be able to SEARCH BY KEYWORD OR PHRASE FOR RELEVANT INFO WITHIN A WEBPAGE on this app. Still give you 5 stars because No One else offers this level of privacy and convenience with awesome search results, and like I said I can't find an app anywhere that does all this with the FIND WITHIN A PAGE function.
No Extension & Suggestions
Ethereal Relativity
1) The app shows that there’s a Safari extension included in the app, but when I go to my Safari settings in my iPhone settings I see zero extensions whatsoever for anything. 2) there needs to be the ability to open multiple windows because sometimes when I go to one page and have it is difficult to navigate back across the login pages to any of the previous pages I was looking at. 3) please please make it possible to bookmark pages. Even when I try to share or copy a link, it doesn’t always share the correct link… especially if it’s from the same website and I’ve navigated to a different part of the website and I’m trying to copy or share that link. It always tends to share/copy the original page link I opened or the previous page’s link. I can’t figure out how exactly it is determining what link it is copying/sharing but it is not doing so with the link for the page that I am actually on. 3) I would like to be able to close the app without losing the content that I was looking at. Sometimes I have to close it to do something else or because somebody has come over and it’s impossible to find where I was or what I was reading. 4) I appreciate that you don’t update your app all the time like most apps do. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it is my motto. but there are a few tweaks that need to be made without actually changing anything to do with the way the app otherwise currently works.

Thank you for this app! The privacy part of it is nice and is why I originally got the app, but I set it as my default browser and it has really helped me be intentional with how I organize my browsing. It actually does help me stay focused. There is one thing that frequently drives me crazy. This app (and others) hide buttons while scrolling. However, many websites have a paywall popup that locks scrolling once a certain point is reached. When this happens the back button and navigation bar are hidden. The only thing that can be done is to shutdown the app and restart. The main feature of this app clashes with this work around because everything is erased. This is particularly insidious when filling out forms.I understand a little bit about web APIs and understand it could be a difficult fix (not sure if it’s even possible on iOS) but it would sincerely make a big difference for users! Thank you for all your hard work at Mozilla!
App Update deleted all of my browser shorcuts
G-A-R-Y-O-N-E!
Update: A recent app update deleted my 4 browser shortcuts and I had to add them back in. Hopefully this won’t recur with future updates. This happened on both my iPhone and iPad.Until the last update you could add 4 shortcuts to your favorite sites so you could easily open them without typing in the whole web address for your most visited sites. Not sure why this feature would be removed. If you didn’t want to use it then you didn’t have to use it. So if users were concerned that others would see their favorite sites they could just enable Face ID or Touch ID to prevent this. Hope this is added back in a future update. It was very convenient to just check your favorite news, sports, or other info sites for any quick news updates when your in a hurry. URL Autocomplete isn’t the same because the sites you visit may be similar to those saved in app’s Top Sites which means you have to type more of the website address to get to the correct website. Instead of just clicking the shortcut. Please fix this so Firefox Focus isn’t just Safari with privacy features and an Adblock. Which is appreciated but not a full featured mobile version of Firefox.
