I have played this game for over a year now, and it continues to be one of my most enjoyable games. It has a simplistic and elegant design that doesn’t require a massive time investment. The red, white, and blue stars have all been fantastic, but I have an idea for a more exploration based “Star.”Players could explore the “Tartarus Pits”, a region with no star. The only light would be a small region around the players’ ships and the eerie glow of the asteroids. This place could be filled with a ton of new Cerberus types and planets. The objective is for the player to explore the region for planets while continuously fighting off enemies. Once a transport reaches a planet, it would take time to explore the planet for the rare remains of special artifacts that can be built and used in the home star to give special bonuses (reduction in research time, increase asteroid spawn size/rate, artificial moon blueprints, etc) or possibly equipped on ships (increase field of vision, etc). The Tartarus region would be available until the player either jumps all of their ships out or they are destroyed (a “survive as long as possible” scenario). Players could also recruit their cooperation members to help them and trade any artifacts they recover.A lot of these reviews mention having a star that is shared by the corporation for exploration, and I think this would be a really cool addition. It would be very challenging and unique with the new Tartarus forces and limited visibility.

This game is a very fun take on a strategy game. The developers did an incredible job of creating a game that does not pressure you to constantly be playing (great when you have a job, kids, etc) but also continues to slowly build over time in depth. Most mobile games that I’ve played start off exciting with all sorts of new content happening all over and then Peter off into a complete grind or repetitive pay-to-progress situation. Hades’ Star is different in that it starts off interesting- the first few milestones are a satisfying progression- but where the game truly shines is as you progress further and unlock the different red, white and blue star missions. Each of them is a distinctly different experience and all of the different modules present totally different but equally viable strategies for tackling each situation. The depth of the game is impressive, and it is exponentially more fun to experience as a group in a corporation. I am excited to see the game continue to be developed and expanded upon- it is a winning formula and I am completely hooked. Strategic thinking and patient, incremental upgrading is highly rewarded. May you create tremendous value for your interstellar corporation’s shareholders, travelers :)

Fun space empire building game. Starts kinda slow but gets huge, deep. Challenges your mind. Colonize planets discovered in your star system. Build mining, transport, and battleships. There’s tons of tech to be discovered. Everything can be upgraded. Go on 3 types of missions. Red Stars are pve, single or multiplayer coop missions for artifacts which you need to unlock and upgrade tech. Blue Stars are short, pvp “last man standing” missions rewarding valuable resources. White Stars are epic 5v5 up to 20v20 5day slow paced events where 2 corporations duke it out for resources in one big star system. These missions are all about strategy, no PTW, which is important to me. I can’t stand the new ptw, in game purchase model that plagues games these days. You can get really creative using all the different tech you discover. Running shipments while trying to use the least amount of fuel is a fun challenge. The modules you can deck your ships out with offer plenty of strategy to figure out and employ. Your home is always safe, this game is not about attacking and taking others resources. It’s about slowly growing huge, efficient, smart, and powerful, in a great supportive gaming galaxy, especially enjoyed if you join a corporation. Word.

I am almost at level 50 and here’s some good things about this game: There’s lots of variety with 4 types of stars: Yellow Star which is yours or another players (if you get a diplomacy station you can open diplomatic relations and sends ships to the other players star system to help each other out!) Red Stars which have different levels and each level it gets harder but with better rewards! White stars which are a Corp v Corp match with different sizes: 5v5, 10v10, 15v15 and 20v20! And there’s blue stars which is a 5 player competition and last one standing keeps there ship (with the damage which needs to be repaired) and all players get 90% of the credits needed to build the ship they used. Some the stuff that people said in other reviews I want in the game as well (like a star for your corporation!) or Comets with lots of hydro (fuel) to quickly mine or a few crystals which are the “premium currency” which you can only get 3 ways: Get high enough on the leaderboard or get enough stuff needed to up in the leaderboard. Rare shipments on planets and when you hydro or credits are full after a white star they get converted into crystals at a reduced rate of value. It takes time to upgrade and get stronger and you can pay to get crystals to speed it up but it’s hard to get a good advantage and you have to be a high level and there’s some losses elsewhere to have an advantage there. (like low level bs (1 to 3) with high mods so it’s hard to get players at the same strength so you get weaker ones but it takes a lot of time and effort to do so) Finally there should be a sort battle between players star systems (optional, and it takes a long time to get from one to the other! Oh, right and there’s 0 Ads so this game deserves 5 stars and you should get it! At a level 20-30 things may slow down but at level 45-50 it speeds up and from what I heard it doesn’t slow down again!
