What does TeleClinic offer me?

In the TeleClinic app, you can conveniently speak with (specialist) doctors from all over Germany via video from the comfort of your home.
• Electronic prescriptions (e-prescription)
Request your e-prescription in just a few clicks via TeleClinic. You'll receive your e-prescription directly in the app at the doctor's discretion. You can have your medication delivered to your home or pick it up at a local pharmacy.
• Sick notes (digital certificate)
For many illnesses, it's advisable to stay in bed and rest at home. That's why you can request a digital sick note during your online doctor appointment via video and receive it directly in the app at the doctor's discretion.
• For all german health insurance providers
The cost of your online doctor visit is covered by your german statutory health insurance. If you have private insurance, you can submit the invoice as usual.

I like the option of consulting medical professionals without having to leave the house. I think many cases can be taken care of in such manner. I recommend this app to everybody.

Booked an appointment for English, the doctor that takes it ends up repeatedly shouting “I am not a native English speaker”. Okay, so I speak slowly and use what German I know.The session lasts 3 minutes—documented by the app. The “doctor” repeatedly yelling over me as I try to state the reason for my visit, “I am not a native English speaker. Go to your Hausarzt!” Then he writes up a false diagnosis and charges the insurance.His diagnosis is one that is impossible to have concluded because we didn’t talk about anything related to medicine or health—he didn’t even listen to reason for my visit. Nonetheless, the app seemingly forces them to write something up.Would have been nice to finally have access to an English speaking doctor. Now I just have a false diagnosis reported to my insurance.Oh, and the brilliant advice to “go see my Hausarzt!”
