INSTANT INSPIRATION WITH CREATE MODE
Generating new musical ideas and starting beats on the go has never been easier. Simply tap on the Create icon, select your desired genre, and immediately drop into a Stack of loops from the Splice library. You may find the generated Stack fits what you’re looking for perfectly, but if not, that’s great too. Developing a musical idea is often about trying combinations of sounds and figuring out what feels good to you—Create Mode is a great companion for that process.
Create Mode leaves creative control in your hands—shuffle to create a whole new Stack or add new layers of compatible sounds and your own recordings. If you want to replace a single loop with a new option of the same type of sound, swipe right. If you want to delete the layer altogether, swipe left. You can also solo a layer by holding down, or tap the layer to mute. Once you’ve chosen your Stack layers, you can fine-tune your loop with volume adjustments and BPM control. When your idea hits the spot, save it with a click. You can also click the Stack icon to hear any individual loop in the Splice library in musical context with Create mode.

Creating and saving your Stack is just the beginning. Not only is the Stack accessible from anywhere you can access your Splice account, but you can also share it directly with a unique link, AirDrop it to friends, or upload to Dropbox, Drive, or another cloud service right from your device for seamless collaboration. If you work in Ableton Live or Studio One, you can export your Stack as a DAW file and open it up with key and tempo information synced when you’re back in the studio. You can also save as a bounced stereo mix to hear the full idea rendered.

Ok first off I’m a little biased because someone I know works there and turned me on to this but I find myself every day downloading samples and making stacks with the apps selection AI and it’s just phenomenal. It nails it almost every time giving me all the parts I need to make a unique track. I love what this company does and stands for and the vast amount of samples available daunt me. I love that it pairs with my sampler and I can pick out a stack at work come home and start making music. My life will never be the same and I am just so thankful splice is a thingThe things I have heard from a little bird make me so excited for what this company is going to do in the future you definitely want to be on team splice

$20 a month...for paying customers, would you consider allowing more tracks to be added in a stack? Also, what about the possibility of creating add-on stacks to pre-existing stacks that we've already made? Please also consider more personalized recommendations and suggestions! For instance, "explore similar" etc. Finally, having the ability to select multiple tracks within a pack so that we can add multiple tracks to our collections? This would save a lot of time and would amplify productivity and organization. LOVE THIS APP SO MUCH!!

They had it right BEFORE they forced AI create mode

I loved this app. Up until its AI integration and the dev forcing this on us, it was a fantastic app. I’m sure I’m not the only one who says this, but please - bring back the classic create mode on mobile. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is when you can’t mix samples together because it’ll just recreate a whole new stack. I don’t want a new stack - I want to search and test our sounds myself and add them to my stack. In addition, the algorithm needs a lot of work. At least 75% of the time, the algorithm recycles the same samples over and over and won’t give you anything new. this is extremely frustrating. So much so that I’ve used the app less and less over time. Might even cancel my subscription if this doesn’t change.

I’ve just started using splice in the last month. My boi Bolo Da Producer put me on to it, and I am having a ball. I was alittle intimidated by how much selection they have, and how to chop the samples. Once I saw the create button, that was the game changer!!! You can get creations you would have never thought were possible. Only thing I hope they do is, make a better algorithm for the HIP HOP style!!!! The TRAP style is on point. I made a few TRAP beats off of the CREATE. You have access to so many possibilities with CREATE! Try listening to a track, and hit CREATE next to it. It will blow your mind!!! Also, please make it easier to see the PACKS that you see on the “on-line” version. But other than that, it’s fire!!!
