First and foremost I love this game. I first got this game when I was around six years old, and to this day (almost ten years later!) i still love this game. It is amazing and very entertaining! Each run gets more difficult as you continue from each one. Once you’ve completed all 12 runs, you can continue to run with that guardian (the horses). This brings up my only problem. Once finished with that horse you have to collect embers (the currency) to unlock the next one, this gets annoying very quickly as you also have to feed your horse which costs you embers. You can have 1,000 embers and then you’ll have to feed it and you’re knocked down to 900. Along with that you also have the option to buy armor and decor for your horses stalls, me, being that person that can not resist buying all armor and decor will buy it all, ending up with only 100 or so embers. This is mostly my fault, but, I would deeply appreciate it if when you finished the 12 runs with another horse you’d get the next one for free or for a cheeper cost. For example, back when I had first started, I completed all 12 of lilies runs and Violets. I wanted to unlock Maple so bad, but I didn’t have enough embers. So I continued to go on runs, unfortunately I could never get enough. But I definitely recommend this game. It is so much fun. The only thing I would change is the cost of the horses. Hi budge! I love ever run! I literally got Ever run less than a day ago last night! I love it it’s fun I already have lily's full set of amor and I have a pink brush and also I just got violet!! People say “ you can’t get embers unless you pay REAL money and when I pay real money I get scammed!” Well not at all embers are easy to get by doing achievements and getting them on the map so just keep going and also the tree gives you 40 per-day so don’t worry 😉. Okay now the secret tips I’ve been saving for last 1: if your horse is halfway hungry just keep ruining and saving your embers and when your out if energy then feed it also be sure to check your achievements because the quests can go to 100 embers to 500 cool right? 2: make sure to work on the same horse for a long time and don’t change also save more embers than you need for a new horse because you won’t have any left to feed it 3: make sure to live as long as you can and get hearts be sure to get embers and get flowers too! Well that’s all the tips I have but just so you know this is probably budge studios best game that doesn’t need money to proceed in the game because I’ve seen how much money you need for budge games but this one is perfect 🤩. P.s GET THIS GAME!!!!!!Edit: so like one year later, my iPad broke, now it wasn’t my fault, the hardware broke and Apple was unable to fix it, so I got a NEW iPad, but here’s the problem: I lost all my data to games not uploaded to ICloud or Apple account or backup and stuff, so I lost my data to this game! I was doing so good! So be careful, if you love this game, just know someday your gonna have to restart from 0

Despite my title; in all seriousness this game has been one of my favorites since early childhood, the storyline and/or plot line never fails to amaze me, the detail and effort that was put into this game is immaculate and this is probably the best budge game I’ve played yet. So grateful that I get to experience such a wonderful game! Thank you budge for never ceasing to excite me with your games. I notice that the prices for embers are cheap which I think is such an important detail! I think it’s a wonderful thing to be mindful about if this game is for children, perhaps they get an allowance, cheap prices means they can make their own purchases in this game and not spend tons of money on currency, if that makes sense. Overall this game is absolutely amazing! I would totally recommend this to my friends at school etc! The controls are easy, the detail is nice, what more could anybody want in a game? My apologies for the long length but I honestly just needed to speak up on this amazing game!

My kid loves this game. She had made a good bit of progress with the petals (had gotten all the blossoms possible in the free mode), and had purchased at least half of all the brushes and armour elements. All of that was wiped out with the app update a couple weeks ago. Her progress was wiped out again (when it comes to embers and ember purchased items) in the last couple of days. She handled the first one well, but this is getting ridiculous. I can appreciate the game and the fact that my kid enjoys it, but the subscription model is very expensive for what the game is. I would be willing to pay a one time fee, but not $6 a month. I am also a bit frustrated with the cost breakdown, since it gives you the impression that you can purchase the other horses for a one time fee, or other elements (like more embers), but when you go to the store, the only thing available is the subscription. It makes me wonder if you do pay a monthly subscription, if they are also still charging for other things as well. I would prefer not to have a bunch of in-app purchasing options, considering kid game and all, but the lack of clarity and options is not great.
