Part owner of a small construction company. Tried a bunch of different apps out there for tracking time and my crews. I landed on Connecteam because of price and being the best application for my company. I tried the free version and loved it. I purchased the basic level (because I’m a small company and couldn’t afford the higher packages) but was disappointed with some of the features I lost when purchasing. I reached out to the Connecteam team and they hooked me up!! They support small businesses and helped me at every turn. I HIGHLY recommend this app if you are looking around for such app. They recently came out with an update giving all small businesses full access to the entire app (everything they offer) without charging me extra! Beyond amazing. Function and use is super easy. Overall great app. You won’t be disappointed if you decide to purchase. Worth every penny. They connecteam team is great with getting you started. They help you along the way. I’ve have it for about 6 months now and have had nothing but exceptional customer service. This is the best time and scheduling app out there by far!

Horrible Customer Support & Super Buggy App

I have had to use this app for several months now and weekly, sometimes daily, there is an issue that gets brought to my attention about it. It’s super buggy all the time. Employees constantly have to delete and reinstall to get things working properly. I am constantly in conversation with customer support and they always need screenshots or videos to back your claim or else your ticket doesn’t get submitted. And to add to that, customer support is no help at all. There’s no way to know that they’re even working on an issue you presented to them. There’s no guarantee when they email you an issue had been resolved that it actually was(they told me this directly). And they continue to gaslight you when you when you bring an issue to them by saying you somehow caused it or make you seem stupid. I have also received direct misinformation about how a feature is supposed to work from a customer support rep after trying to get them to help me fix something for weeks. It’s incredibly frustrating trying to work with them to get things fixed and working again. I have had a ticket submitted for an issue for over 2 months at minimum and never get any updates, never know when it’ll be fixed, nothing. It’s always something with this app and it’s never a good experience talking with them.

Your review states the exact opposite so it means we must take a closer look at it to understand what's wrong. I want to take care of this personally myself so please email me at chen@connecteam.com so we can communicate.As for issues with the app - if there is an issue the team can't replicate, it's almost impossible to understand what needs to be fixed. For example, if you have complaints about issues uploading an image in a chat conversation, but all our automated and manual tests cannot reproduce such issue, we then need more information like videos and screenshots so we can understand what may lead to that issue, and sometimes that means asking some questions. As for an issue you were told would get fixed and it wasn't, we'll need to look specifically into that. As this review is anonymous, there's not much we can do from here. Great App Great Customer Service

We are a civil construction company of 100 employees. We did a lot of research for a platform that would allow us to better engage and communicate with our employees and landed on Connecteam ~1-1/2 years ago for its value and versatility. Our experience with the app and the product support team has been second-to-none. We have about 95% engagement company-wide with nearly 60% regular engagement, which has exceeded our expectations. We don’t even use all of the app features, but it will do everything we hoped it would do and more. As the primary admin and content curator, I can say that the app is relatively easy to use, both on the front and back ends, and is very versatile in its abilities. I have interacted with product support from the beginning as if I was the only customer and they have done nothing but treat me as if that is true. It’s pretty cool to know that your ideas for improvement are heard. I would highly recommend this app!
You Don’t Always Need My Location

My boss just had us switch to this app for scheduling and clocking in, and there’s a couple issues I have with it.First of all, the app doesn’t need to always have my location. It has worked just fine with only allowing it while using the app, but it’s been pushing me to change it to always allowing my location to be tracked, to the point where I can’t clock in. If it won’t work with “allow while using” then don’t have it be an option.The other issue isn’t as big of a deal, but it might be a nice feature to have. Being able to just give up a shift and allow other people to take it without having to use a group chat can be handy. There’s a few extra steps that come from having to use a group chat that can be eliminated if the person unable to work can post their shift and someone can take it, instead of communicating, posting to the one person, that person accepting, and then the boss approving it. Not a big deal, just an idea that comes from using other clock in apps.

Thanks for the feedback! As for location - if your admins have activated the live tracking option when you're on the clock, then the location settings require it to be set to "Always", otherwise the live tracking can't work because the app will have to remain opened at all times. With the "Always" option you can clock in and close the app, saving you battery while still tracking the location :) Why are there other options there as well? Because that's how iOS works, we can't control that on our side... with today's privacy regulations, you can always make the choice.As for replacing shifts - there's a dedicated feature just for that - you can unclaim your shift and it will be suggested automatically to other qualified users, and an admin approves the request. Your admins simply need to enable that on their end :) perhaps worth suggesting that to them? :)If you need more assistance, don't hesitate to contact me personally at chen@connecteam.com.
