Originally rated a one star but changed to 4 star. I sent 300 usd to family in Mexico in urgent need. I only used this site over established players since they were the only ones who listed the remote agent in the remote town I was looking for. My family member told me the local agent could not find the money using the folio number after being notified by Sharemoney that the money was sent. I thought it was a scam so I started a ticket using the robot assistant in the app, eventually a human service member contacted me in the same chat saying they would reach out soon. But they didn’t. The next day, I decided to personally call the agent in Mexico to check if the transfer arrived before going to my bank to dispute the charge. The local agent in Mexico told me the money was now available. I still canceled the transfer by calling the Omnex group 866 phone number since my family no longer needed the money. The transfer was canceled upon request and I received a refund in my bank account after 3 days. I strongly recommend a ‘cancel transfer’ option in the app/website and an option to accurately track a transfer status instead of a wishful “ready”. I only recommend this app/site over moneygram or Western union if a remote agent is not available since this app/site seems to have a large pool of agents not listed with the big players.

I love this service, I’ve been using it for years now. I have to admit that at the beginning I was a bit skeptical, but it has gain my trust throughout the years, I have never had a problem. (There was one time that I moved to a different state, so I couldn’t make the transfer right away until I proved that it was me making the transaction from a different address, but I totally appreciated that)It’s easy, safe, and fast. My dad gets his money (across the globe) within minutes of me making a transfer and he also gets a notification text that he’s gotten some mula in his bank account. :D And I love that they give you promo codes every month to lower or wave the transfer fee!

I will advise you to never use sharemoney. The customer service is very bad, and they can hold your transfers for several days without any reasons. I been sending money with them almost 3 years to assist my family back home. They decided to block my account for no reason and telling me it has to do with compliance. I don't believe that the reason because I been sending money to the same people over and again for the last 3 years. How it is not in compliance now and you allowed for the last 3 years. Take my word for it, please do not use them. They don't value their customers and care less about how long you have your account with them. I am an accountant and professional and all my transfers are justified and for my family members. Now I have to find a new money transfer company and reenter all my family which will take some time because in Africa some families are very large. Again, please do not use it Sharemoney they are going to just make your life difficult for no reason. The owner replied to one of my reviews from a site and promise to look it to this but nothing happen. Nobody call or follow up. That’s just confirm they just don’t care. Please do not use it. I am just trying to save you from the headache I went through
