Soo picked this up thinking it would be good since I have a keyless car start. I always have it somewhere but when I go to find it I have to dig in the bottom of my purse. I got the app n squeezed like I was supposed to and nothing. I tried 2 more times. I ck’d the battery type n I have one on hand so I put it in. First of all the battery in it wasn’t the same as what the app told me to use. I put mine in it anyway (after lifting the prongs to get it to fit) and it worked. That was till I put the cover back on it. Now there’s no room to squeeze it. I’m getting another battery the same as what was in it. We shall see what happens.

I bought this on a whim while looking for something for 5 dollars. It took me a while to understand how to pair it probably because I didn’t see the introduction tab in the app. You pair it by squeezing the token for 3 seconds or until it beeps. The ringtones on the app aren’t for the token but your iPhone so don’t get that confused. The token only beeps that’s it nothing fancy. I agree it could be louder but I haven’t lost my keys since I bought it 3 days ago so I haven’t tested it actually looking for my keys. I agree with another reviewer I hope they make the app work in the background; currently if you close the app the token beeps until you open the app and connect it’s the reason I gave it 3 stars because it’s inconvenient for me because I have a habit to closes all my apps and then it just starts beeping. It also has a nice feature that if you squeeze the token twice it rings your phone but only works if your phone ringer is one so again a little inconvenient. Will update review the more I use it

Pairing worked ok on my iPhone se.The instructions are really not clear and part of the confusion is that is that the app I think was written for a tracking device with more functionality as the settings such as ringtone for example are not supported on the key ring attached token. Once you come to that realization it does appear to seem more intuitive. Basically simple and works ok except It would be nice if the developer would allow it to run as a background task because if you terminate in foreground mode the token beeps until you either start the app back up in foreground mode and reconnect or turn the token off. I couldn’t figure a way around that.

People giving this a 5 star must be paid to do so... here are things I’ve noticed from 5 minutes of use. Pros:- affordable- comes with a keychain- cool design - lightweight- super easy set upCons:- If you close the app, the keychain will start beeping. - If I go from one side of the house to the middle (it’s a small condo by the way) the alarm goes off because it “failed to connect” which I’m guessing means I’m out of range. - If I keep the app open but keep it running in the background, the keychain STILL beeps. (This might be due to me having background app refresh turned off on my phone... I’ll have to test this) While it has some good pros, the product doesn’t do the one thing it was created to do which is why I’m rating this so low. If I could open the app and then turn on alarm, I would love this product! Since I am unable to have the app closed without it going off, there is no real point to having this product. I have to turn the keychain part off when ever I’m closing the app so if I lose my keys while it’s off, waste of money.
