Whenever I tap the Coupons tab, it spins forever and the says “Unable to Load coupons. Please try again in a moment.” But they never load. It did this a few weeks ago, and then coupons reappeared for a few days. I was able to clip some. If I go on the actual website I can see & clip coupons and it remembers the coupons I had clipped previously when the app worked for a few days. So the coupons are there, and they are saved to the account…the mobile app just can’t handle them anymore after years of working just fine. And there’s NO spot anywhere to report a glitch, start a ticket, ask for help. I actually really loved this app a few months ago, but the blank coupons tab is a downer and the complete inability to contact customer service is frustrating. By that I mean the APP DEVELOPER customer service; Woodman’s actual company customer service is good.

UPDATE: Still leaving my previous review because I didn’t see it (though, in my defense, I did say “unless I am missing something” in my original review), but after seeing a developer response to someone else’s comment, it seems the item location functionality IS still there. At the top of the app, select “In-Store” (located next to the Delivery and Pickup options, directly under the search bar). Having item locations makes this app much, much better and more usable. The shopping list also seems to be in the upper right corner now. ——— OLD REVIEW The new update looks beautiful, but the entire purpose of the app was lost for me, unless I am missing something. Woodman’s is so big, I would use the shopping list function to both keep track of what I needed and to hunt it down in the aisles. The item locations/aisle numbers within the old app were a godsend, especially for someone like me with social anxiety who likes to get in and out. I could focus on where I needed to be and how to get there and it was the only way shopping was made tolerable. Am I just missing it? And if so, can I be pointed on the right direction? If not, I’ll unfortunately need to resort to shopping at Jewel for all my groceries again because their app still has item locations/aisle numbers and a shopping list function. I really hate leaving this review because the app looks so much better and I love Woodman’s, but I can’t shop like this. One day, I’ll hopefully make enough progress to not need these crutches, but right now they’re very much needed and it’s disheartening to see this functionality removed.

Search is broken, you can type in the exact product and have to scroll throw a couple screens of related products before you might find it. It feels like the new interface priority is to give sponsored products and/or the more expensive option. If you happen to have the old product the barcode search works as expected. The order again is as broken as the search. Update on previously purchased (as requested): at the bottom of the app, there is an “buy it again” option. It’ll list out everything you ordered in the past. I’ve ordered quite a few things and so while in the buy it again mode, I use the search at the top of the screen to quickly find my previous item that I want to buy again. Or at least that’s what I expect, I just get random results instead of the short list I expect. The “buy it again” button at the bottom of the screen stays highlighted so I’m still in that mode. This isn’t usable — it’s just pushing me to sponsored items instead of my previously purchased. Ironically, this is only a problem if buy a lot of items through the app such that scrolling through the list is a chore.

I will start of with the rating. Woodmans gets a 4.5 star rating. Love the store. The app on the other hand. Yes 3 I went down to 3 because it’s a 3.5 I enjoy using the app I run into a lot of let’s call them bugs or glitches. One of them my saved items I have to mess with the app close and open it. Some time my saved list shows an empty cart some times my saved items are in there. Another thing I came across was out of stock items. As it seems like it doesn’t get re set when stock is back. Also glitches on pick up. I use the tracking and that works as they know I’m there. But to click I’m here. It doesn’t work sometimes. I just want to say I hope they can review their app and give it a big face lift and revamp the whole thing. I don’t know how many use the app but it seems to be lacking quality. Definitely a full time gig staying on top of stocked items per stores.
