To start off, if you’re using this app just to clip coupons and use your Hannaford rewards, this absolutely gets the job done.I’ve started using the “shopping list” feature, and I really do love it! You can sort the list by department (default), or by aisle. There are a couple of things I think would improve the shopping list feature. First, it would be helpful if the app could remember how you sorted your list when you go back into the app. I prefer to sort my list by aisle, and it’s annoying to have to set that every time I I open my list, especially since this app runs a little slow. Another thing that would be useful is the ability to delete things from your list if they are out of stock. Right now, if an item is out of stock, it’s greyed out, and you cannot interact with the item. I have things that are just sitting on my list because they’re out of stock, and I can’t delete them.Overall, a pretty good app. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I’m so frustrated by this app. I store my usual shopping items in a shopping list, and select those I need to add to my basket for my weekly shop. So I need this app, it’s so useful to me and if it runs well, then it saves me soo much time in doing my grocery shop. If it runs well. If. After selecting the boxes it’s a toss up if it’ll crash or add everything . Restart the app.. try again.. Ugh. Today I’ve tried to use the app, but it’s just not happening. I’ve restarted it over and over, but I guess it’s too busy? No other app I have has these issues. Every week I select the things I want on my shopping list, scroll up to the top the add.. ok dreaded white screen, selections gone, start again.. long list, takes a long time.. PLEASE FIX APP! Why so long since bug fixes??? There’s so many bugs!App support: please fix this bug - I select a lot of things in my shopping list, then I click the top to get up to the add to cart button. Unless I only have a small number of items the app crashes, and I spend another 20 min selecting all my items again. Please please fix this. I hate it. So frustrating.

I’ve used the app for a few years and had no troubles. However, within the last six months it has not worked well at all. When I open it, none of the buttons are responsive. I have to fully close and reopen the app an average of five times to get it to respond. This is a new problem and I want to use the To Go service, so I ensure it. But it is very annoying. This second issue is not a glitch, but a suggestion to improve functionality. The shopping lists are a great feature. Having the option to switch from one shopping list to my others without needing to go back to my account, select shopping lists, then select the new list I want to see would improve the app. For example, if you open a shopping list, have a dropdown menu available that lists your other shopping lists. It’s like walking around a block and realizing you dropped something 5ft back, but instead of just turning around, you need to walk all the way around the block again to get back to your item.

While the app update has improved speed and reliability, it went backwards in several features. Previously, you could have multiple shopping lists. I am a weekly pickup customer, so I would have my “regular” list that I would use each week but, I would have a separate “quick pick up” list that I would add what I need for when I needed to stop into the store (which would then be sorted by location to make shopping easy). Speaking of location, what happened?? The shopping list would previously be sorted logically based on store layout. Now, to sort by location, it goes by aisle and then pretty much “all else.” That means that produce, back wall, dairy all get mashed together. App reliability issue: if I schedule a pickup time and then build my list, half the time I go to check out and it tells me that the time a lot is no longer available. Trust me, the 7am on Saturday slot is still open. App bug: when adding items to your cart from your shopping list, the app will suddenly scroll up or down, making it more confusing to find your place. App issue: if your order is picked early, you are invited to come pick it up early via text and email. But, the “I’m on my way” option in the App doesn’t show up until 15 minutes before pick up time. So, my option is to show up and then call the phone number if I early. Final observation: the old app would send out a text 15 min before pickup as a reminder. It would be REALLY helpful to get that feature back.
