Before Finhabits, I always thought that investing was for super wealthy people and something I'd never do. Finhabits really changed that for me. It's super easy to create an account and to link it to your bank account. Then you can choose how much you want to invest, and you just watch your money grow. At first, I started with $10 a week, as I was a bit worried because I was not used to investing. Then I saw that Finhabits is super safe and really makes my money work! I now transfer $200 a week and it's great. It's a great way to put money aside, and also get a lot more money than on a regular savings account. I've already gained a lot of money from investing! I also love the company because it really has a great mission: make investing accessible to everyone, and not just to old rich people. It's revolutionary in a way. Also, they're super helpful, and they will always help you if you have any questions. So don't hesitate, start investing your money and take your future in your own hands!
Some of these apps..

Well, had money in the app for a while back in 2021 (I'd say for 8 months) and I saw that instead of earning, the values kept dropping. So I took my money out, which worked fine. I waited a bit and decided to deposit some money to start investing. It didn't work as expected. Unfortunately due to an illegal transaction (unrelated to Finhabits) to my bank account I had to close it, that's when things got wonky with this app, my $20 deposit had "posted" into the app, and by the next day had already lost about $4 due to market being horribly down (current USA economy is terrible) and since the account had been closed, my bank reversed all transactions from the past 3 days or so; which meant that my balance in Finhabits went to the negatives -$24. It is funny because when I called Finhabits they told me it was impossible to add another funding source to my current profile so I had to create a new one. I became very reluctant to dealing with this company when I realized there were things they could do and some they don't even have the ability to do. How do I know my money won't be locked out of my bank account? Also, and fortunately I had withdrawn my money at the time, but what if my bank account had been closed before I got my money out? Heck no... Sometimes when you make things a certain way you end up shooting yourself on the foot. This is not the only app that has crazy limitations like this, so be careful where you put your money in.
Developer Response
Hi, the performance of your portfolio depends on many different factors such as the market performance, the portfolio diversification, and your investment horizon (we recommend long-term).The funds that you deposit are automatically invested by our team in the stock market. Your investment performance may go up and down on a daily basis and this is normal investment behavior. The overall goal is for customers to evaluate the performance of your portfolio every 12 months. This way you will give your money enough time to grow.Historically, the winning formula has been to invest for a long period of time. Here is a brief video from our founder: https://youtu.be/svZTFr6JxrEPlease let us know if you have any questions.
Great app

I have been using the Finhabits app for about a month now. The markets are unpredictable right now which requires patience but I am confident that beginning my investment portfolio now makes the most sense. Apps like Finhabits are trying to encourage us to save our money to diversify our finances and also prepare for future goals like retirement. I try to invest a small portion of money on a weekly basis to continue building towards my savings goal. They have been responsive to my questions so far which has been nice.
Closing account, Bad Service and fees

I used this app for a while. The reason I didn’t contribute much money in it is bc I have another retirement account and investment account somewhere else, where my only fee is a $0.03 for every 10k invested. Here, I’m being charged with a $2 fee every month (which is too high in retrospect). Recently, I decided to close my account with Finhabits. I requested a withdrawal on the 1st of this month and was contacted by Finhabits Support Team on the 2nd saying it takes from 4-6 business days for funds to be in my acc. I Sent a follow-up email on the 15th since I had not received the funds and was updated that my withdrawal was delayed for an additional 4-6 business days. This response was from the 16th and today is the 25th. Say you have an emergency and need access to your funds, DON’T put it all in here. You might face a tough situation.
Thank you for being part of the Finhabits community. We made some bug fixes and improvements so it's easier for you to build smart money habits and reach your financial goals.
