Terrible form of payment for donating plasma to “save lives”!! Had $2.49 left on the card and went thru ice cream drive thru for $2.19 and it declined. I called to find out why it was declined and they tried gaslighting me into thinking the “merchant” was trying to process with a 10% “tip hold” which was not true. I was IRATE and said no way would they do that so after trying to get this “bank” to tell me how or what this means because this would explain a lot of past issues of when I had money and the card would decline, then automatically charge me .50¢ every single time the store would swipe again and again… the money would decrease and decrease. This company needs to be investigated because the rep told me that if it’s processed as a credit that this bank automatically puts up to 20% hold on top of your remaining balance and if you don’t have it in there, they take it as a declined transaction. If you do the math, even at 10% I still should’ve had enough to buy the darn ice cream!! I’m going to stop donating at CSL after tomorrow. I’m so over these banks taking advantage and STEALING blood money!!!!!CROOKS!!

I was forced to use this VILE card and this VILE app. No other option. I was charged a fee to view my balance when I was not even trying to view my balance. I was then charged again at the same ATM at the same time for printing out a receipt. I then went to Taco John’s and DID have enough to pay but I was declined and then charged another fee. I tried again for less not realizing they charged a decline fee they shouldn’t have. I only did this twice but was charged three times. This is the most pathetic business model of all-time and why they have a sub 2 rating and now I see that so many people are discussing how you can barely get a hold of their customer service and when you do they are terrible no doubt intransigent about giving any of their phony fees back to you. My warning to the companies that use this horrible company… you may save a little up front but then your clients will hate you for even sending them the worst card of all-time in American business. I’m having a discussion with my attorney now what can be done here. Don’t be fooled and fight for every penny they try to steal.

Doesn’t even work at almost all ATMs. Has worked twice at my banks ATM and then stopped. Got a new card, didn’t help.The ATMs suggested are out of commission. I’ve been to four locations and all of them had signs that said they’ve been decommissioned.Support is useless. Saying to visit their ATMs (the ones that are decommissioned) and/or get a replacement card (even though I’ve already done that). They just keep repeating that. Literally just keep going back to that even though I’ve said that’s not the issue, as I’ve already done that and still am having issues. So support is no help whatsoever.Even using it to just get gas, I have to walk into the store and prepay…guessing how much will fill my tank because prices are constantly changing. So never being able to top off my tank.This card is nothing but problems and I’m literally done donating plasma, unfortunately until they switch cards again and stop cheaping out. Sorry CSL, but do better. PaySign, no hope for you.

!!Update: this loophole has been fixed and no longer works!!Here’s how to avoid the fees you’re charged every time you want to use your card in any way. You’ll need two PayPal accounts—your main and second. Add the prepaid card to your second PayPal account. Then send the money from that card from your second account to your main account. You’ll only be charged a small PayPal fee depending on the size of the transaction, but it’s better than the multiple fees from PaySign and the prepaid card. The money will appear in your main PayPal balance and you’re then free to use it without fees from there on out.If you have a friend that you can trust, you can do this same thing without having to make a second account. Just add the card to your own PayPal, send the card’s money to your friend’s account, then have them send that money (not refund) back to your own PayPal balance.
