I sent some feedback to the developer of this app, and hope they really consider it. This app could GREATLY benefit from more customization options and features. There should be an ‘other’ template for the Photo ID section for cards that don’t verify successfully by the app. If not at least more preset templates. What about State ID cards, Passport cards (not the book), Birth Certificate cards, Social Security cards, Health Insurance cards, etc? So far this app is missing a ton of other types of cards people have for identification purposes! Also, I don’t like the way the ‘other’ option works currently. It should do the outline ‘automatic’ scan the same way the preset templates do. I hate trying to steady my phone to take a decent proportional scan of a card...and I’m sure I’m far from alone. It can take FOREVER for someone to get it perfect enough to not look skewed or bad. If you added the ability to add information fields to each custom card that would be awesome. Also, (and I mentioned this in my email), add the option to upload existing scans from the camera roll. I already have GREAT scans of many of my cards so having to take pics again through the app can be redundant. Give users the ability to choose! Also, the ability to upload your own profile pic would be nice too. On a good note, I LOVE the functionality of the app and the layout! I wouldn’t change that for nothing! Again it’s a great app but in my opinion still has a long way to go. It needs much more customization (upload) ability and not solely ‘camera-reliant’ as it pertains to scans IMO.

I always wanted to ditch all my plastics even my drivers license but I couldn't find app that was truly successful at doing this until now. I have been using this app since it's early stages and it was the security that made me felt comfortable. It didn't have the kind of options it does like now but as time went on, I trusted it. I am a fan of the wallet in the pocket and never thought that I'd ditch it the way I did. After apple released the apple magsafe wallet I decided to give it a try and cut down on the amount of stuff that I carry. I also found out many new things that were happeing as well such as the digital wallet Anyways I quickly began using it pony to hold my transit card and some emergency cash. Using this app made me ditch the drivers license which I held onto very tight. It will be replaced really soon state by state but until then how can you use that driver's license as a form of ID? This is the answer, let's face it today the world has gone fully digital this app migrates this very well. I will like to see a passport option so when I travel iit will be easy to present a proof of my passport incase it's lost or stolen even if I choose to keep it in the vault at the hotel or resort. That will be the missing piece now. As I use another app for passports that's not very practical imo at the moment for this sort of use. This is my main app for identification in my daily life, and I use it more than I ever though I would, you should give it a try if your looking to turn all your plastics into digital. All your data is on your own phone not any servers, going into 2 years allot has changed.

Been on iPhone for 2 years since all my family is on it which makes it more convenient. Before that was happy with Samsung Galaxy S phones and liked Samsung Wallet. In my opinion it’s better than Apple wallet which is very limited in comparison. Apple Pay is fine but what it’s missing is the ability to add whatever cards you want including membership and loyalty cards just by scanning them manually. Apple requires the store to create a link to work with Apple Pay which is ridiculous in my opinion. Thus I found Folio which is exactly was I was looking for. There a some cards I always physically carry but I always like to have a backup and I have forgotten my wallet before so having info and cards on the phone is a must have to be safe. Not sure why the developers are using the heavy handed push for a selfie to “verify” that the ID provided by me is actually me? I mean, couldn’t I swap pics on the ID to begin with? Under what authority were you planning on verifying my ID anyways?Besides, with us switching over to a National Identification System like the good people in China have been provided to them by their government, I’m sure we’ll soon learn that the COVID vaccine mandates went over so well that one of their forward thinkers decided, “why not mandate a implantable microchip next? Heck, if they accepted the COVID shot so easily we can certainly pull off convincing them that’s a good idea 😂. Forgive my lack of trust but please understand we’re living under a government who’s forcing us to submit to a national ID with absolutely no benefit to the people which is sketchy already given this is the same group of intellects who purchased antivirus from a country that they’ve told us is the enemy all our lives, and then complained that this software they purchased from their enemy may have been used to spy on them. Not the group I’d like responsible for safeguarding all my info and certainly can’t trust an app maker in a different country to do it either. I’ll stick with the unverified ID but thank you.
