Do not order online or through the application from this store. I placed an order online with store pickup. I knew the store had what I wanted in the store. I ordered store pickup to save time so I wouldn't have to wait in line. Since the store had the product, I assumed that the process would be quick. Turns out that when you order through the application or online, they send the items from their warehouse in New York rather than filling the order in the store. Thus you have to wait 5-7 business days for your items to arrive at the store. The website and application do not notify the purchaser of this major policy and delay. One assumes that a company has the intelligence and efficiency not to incur shipping fees by sending product from New York to California when the product is already in the store. While I was not charged a shipping fee, I have to wait 5-7 business days to receive the product which is several days after I needed to receive the order. The store won't let me cancel the order until they receive. As I will be out of town for a month, I won't be able to pick up the order now. They say they will return it to their warehouse in New York after the store receives the order, Then I will receive a refund. This policy is highly inefficient and very poor customer service. While they have nice products and I had intended to buy jackets for friends for Christmas and birthday presents, I now won't do business with this company again. I can not support a company that wastes its resources so completely and doesn't respect customers' time and money.

I love Uniqlo! But I hate this app. I saw the “get a $3 coupon if you download the Uniqlo app” (turns out there was a $30 minimum that wasn’t mentioned but that’s a different tangent) and thought why not? The website is a little glitchy sometimes on mobile view (desktop is fine!) so I thought maybe the app is their solution to that. Turns out that most of the things you tap on in the app just send you back to the mobile site which would have been fine if it wasn’t WORSE than the normal mobile view. Half the time I just see part of the page loaded and the rest of the page is just blank. Despite this, after finding a few items that I liked and successfully added to my cart, guess what happened—I gave up after my cart wouldn’t load after a good five minutes (no, it’s not my internet connection since I can stream movies perfectly fine yet this doesn’t work). It was so frustrating that I decided to take the time to write this review.Uniqlo is a big and successful company, and there are many, many smaller stores with significantly better apps. I’m a little shocked they haven’t seen the need to address this issue. So I’m going to stick to shopping in-person or using the desktop site until this app is completely revamped.
Worse quality and worse refund and exchange

I have a lot of Uniqlo products bought from physical stores in Japan or Hong Kong or anywhere in Asia and never encounter any quality issues of any Uniqlo products. However Uniqlo US Online shop, they do sell bad quality products with “holes”!!!! I understand they dont have a lot of physical stores everywhere in the states. But it doesn’t mean quality is not checked when they are shipped. Especially they are really really really ridiculous procedures to get a refund or exchange. Any photos with holes on a brand new product doesn’t count. You’ve got to ship them back with shipping charge paid again upfront. And then they will inspect it to see if justify for a refund!!!!! I gotta to pay to return the items beforehand and wait for their “decision” that they may or may not refund to you with the shipping charge I have to pay!!!!!!!! It’s not what i expected for an online shop in Uniqlo with a reputation of good quality. Two same styles of items have the same defect. It’s definitely a systematic defect. And I am the one has to go through all the trouble to prove I am right. And they don’t allow you to exchange other style to avoid the defects again at the same price but asked you to repurchase. You know Everytime you need to make up 99$ for free shipping. So I need to buy more for just repurchase the items that I need????? Why I am the one to suffer from their bad quality items. They are using customers as their QC instead of themselves as they are not the one to go through such troubles but the customers. I would not recommend any shopping online at Uniqlo US. Super bad experiences from bad quality products to ridiculous procedures and arbitrary for their defective items.

TLDR: If you want a frustrating shopping experience this app is perfect for you!I really love Uniqlo, I had high expectations for the app. The app was beyond disappointing, but unusable. I attempted to make a purchase through the app. Browsing was agonizing. Like other reviewers have mentioned it’s basically a web wrapper, I don’t mind web wrappers I use an app called simple. But it doesn’t have issues like this disaster that Uniqlo calls an app. But back to my shopping experience. I eventually find everything I need, time to check out. I’m not about to input my cc on such a flawed app, so I try to check out with paypal. The app becomes stuck. I thought maybe my internet is slow. I walk away from the app, come back to my order the next day and get an error screen. So I hit back and attempt to check out again, same thing happens. If this purchase was for me I would take it as a message from the powers that be to not spend. But it’s not for me, it’s a present, so I’m determined to make this purchase. I give up on the app and purchase through the website without issue, which I should have done the moment I noticed how bad the app was.
