This game is great, except there’s a few bugs at the moment. Minor Bugs: Using the level up until next upgrade button sometimes will level up tapping levels negatively 100 levels. Had a bug where Bruenor was buffing champions even when he was not in the same column somehow.Major Bugs: Bruenor sometimes goes back to level 0 and then leveling him up grants you two Bruenors.Game overheats my iPad sometimes, wish there were lower quality settings. Lots of crashes all the time. Happens at the end of levels, as well as completing adventures. Only lost progress once though, most of the time the progress is still saved even after crashes. Overall good game, but the crashes happen all the time, and it gets annoying after a while. The overheating is also a problem, but hopefully there could be lower settings in the future which would solve this issue. Lastly, it would be nice to get some codes for the mobile versions as well! And I suggest adding some mobile only gifts to all players to encourage the launch of the new app, those are always great!I wish steam could sync to the mobile version, but hopefully that could be added in the future, for now, it’s not a problem.
Gets worse each year

I’ve played Idle Champions since year 2. With time, of course they added new features and activities to keep you interested, but chipping away at the concept this is really an ‘idle’ clicker game. I’m fine with that, other than the period they added Seasons with daily tasks. While Seasons by and large were great once they got rid of the daily aspect, Idle Champions never properly supported idle gameplay with them. More than once, there would be a task with a counter revolving around kills or a feature that only works on an open, active party, not when running in the background or offline. Now they’ve given us Events 2.0. It’s overly long, tedious, convoluted and seems designed around offering 3x the micro transactions of Events 1.0. Of course I can just ignore Events (I am, and I’m no longer spending the $30-50/month I used to on this game), but the problem remains that server connectivity for all gameplay is choppy and the game itself crashes more in recent months than ever before. If it wasn’t for nostalgia, I don’t think I would be playing it at all anymore.
Possible my favorite idle/incremental game

I am a big fan. I am not a D&D person and I only really know Baldur’s Gate characters, but this is a fun idle game. I have played from the beginning on PC and recently started it on an iPad. I haven’t played on phone as this is a game where you really need to leave the device running for hours. You can brute force your way through the game by playing non-stop, but some levels will require strategic positions and interactive play. You can also use interactive play to push ahead more levels, which helps increase your power for future runs. Since I rushed through narrative on PC, I decide I would read all the story dialogue on iOS. It is mildly entertaining, but I’m not sure how much value it is adding to my experience.
Lots of bugs!

For the most part, this is a fun game. I like the concept, the strategy, and how many different things there are to do. However, the bugs are seriously ruining this for me. - Its not properly formatted for the iPhone X, sometimes blocking the exit button for the campaign map. - Some of my champions straight up disappear in the middle of the campaign for no reason. They’re still doing damage, I can still upgrade them and use their special abilities, but their player models are gone. Meaning that I have no idea where they are in my formation and I can’t change it. - Occasionally the game will just crash. When this occurs, I sometimes lose progress or the losing champions glitch occurs. It will just freeze up and shut down at what feels like random chance. I downloaded this a little over 24 hours ago and it’s crashed on me at least 4 times, one time making my entire phone shut down.- Sometimes when I close the app I lose progress. Not a whole lot of progress, but still like a couple of upgrades worth of progress. In an idle game I’d like to trust that the app will save my progress easily, not requiring me to anxiously press the manual save button every few minutes just in case the game crashes on me.- Also, not really a bug, but it supports Game Center??? Which hasn’t been around for years??? So I have no idea how to back up my game.I was sort of expecting a lot from this game! I heard about it on Critical Role and since it had the official Dungeons and Dragons logo on it, I figured this would be pretty high quality! I really want to like this! But sadly these bugs are really starting to get to me.
