During postpartum with my third baby, I had a full sleepless night (even though baby was sleeping) and I was unable to nap during the day no matter how hard I “tried”. I panicked. It was such a foreign feeling. And that turned into many compounding nights until it was a full blown disaster in my life. It messed with my brain chemistry so badly that I couldn’t see a way through it. I felt incapable of taking care of my three small children. I saw so many doctors and different types of therapists. I was forwarded this app by a kind stranger overseas on a WhatsApp group who was tipped onto the fact that I was struggling tremendously with this. It turned it all around. Understanding why in fact I developed the insomnia, why nothing seemed to “work”, and learning how to untangle it from my psyche has brought me back to life. This journey through has become an enormous metaphor to life, these modules and processes. For you self-help interested friends…it’s kind of similar to the foundation The Untethered Soul (Michael Singer) but for sleep. It’s digestible, hopeful, motivating, so friendly. I’m thankful now for the whole experience and what the wilderness of this season has ultimately taught me (still is). Expecting that it won’t be perfect from here on out but I can and will cope with what is as I’ve proven to myself. I just dropped 8 prescribed meditations into a drop box at cvs. Good riddance. Insomnia has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with. it was hard, frustrating, scary, and at times I felt hopeless. I read "say good night to insomnia" and started that program. It was good but felt a little robotic, with a lot to think about and manage. I began to obsess over sleep and the to-do list, which was the opposite of getting back to great sleep. Then I heard about "Set it and Forget it" with the Bedtyme app. I felt like this was a lot more helpful on my journey back to great sleep. $329 might seem like alot, but it is worth every penny. The Bedtyme team, I feel, deserves much more money for how they have changed my life. The app is so helpful and structured in such a simple way. For so many days, I felt like giving up and going back to a pill, and this app, with the chats, helped keep me going. If you are scared or on the fence, trust me and go all in with this app. Jump in with both feet, and don't ever look back! There were a few times I was just about to give up and shortly thereafter made big steps forward. If you learn the truth/education about sleep and follow the app and advice, you will, in time, learn to let go of this sleep fear. It will take time, patience, and humility, but it will work. I’ve had this crazy obsession with sleep for ten years, after my mother passed. I became fanatical about it and my sleep worsened over time. I tried everything and became on and off obsessed with medications and marijuana, particularly awful Benzos and other alternative remedies such as Accupunture, hypnosis, naturopaths, talk therapy, brain wave therapy, spending THOUSANDS of dollars on things that did not help (some harmed). This sounds crazy, but when you can’t sleep, you’ll do anything to obtain it, even if you know it is absurd. Well, I am here to say that this is the ONLY thing that has worked for me and I wish I had known about this program a decade ago. It’s so simple and easy to follow. I feel so much more positive about the direction I’m headed. Life is better everyday and it’s only been a little over three weeks! All I can say is try it and most of all, don’t waste time. Do the program properly, and you’ll start sleeping better in no time. I knew about sleep restriction, but it sounded so harsh until Daniel made it more easy to follow. And he is there to answer any questions you may have along the way. It is not easy, which is why it took me so long. It is extremely challenging but well worth the effort you’ll put in. I still have a bit to go, but I am so happy with my results so far. I feel that this can help so many others too. Thank you Daniel!

I thought I had already written a review for this app, but I don’t think it went through properly.Anyhoo, I was in a dark place, lost and confused. I couldn’t stop contemplating over sleep, doing the littlest things and (avoiding certain things too) if I felt they’d have a positive or negative effect on my sleep. Little did I know I was only going deeper down the hole. When you’re stuck in this place of mystery, which I was, it seems impossible to ever sleep again. But fear no more! YOU CAN SLEEP! It is literally a biological process engraved within every single human being! Back to my struggle! I had bad insomnia where I slept one hour a night for 5 nights straight and even stayed up an entire night one time. I was taking zzzquil (finished the entire bottle in 2 weeks), often taking 2x the prescribed dose to “catch” even 3 hours of sleep. I tried it all, except for prescriptions, since I’m an aspiring student aiming for the medical field, I had an idea or two of how they worked, and it didn’t look too appealing to me, so I turned to a natural remedy and I am GLAD I did. At first it’ll seem sketchy, since a lot of the advice Mr. Erichsen will give you will seem EXTREMELY terrible, like seriously, befriending wakefulness when you could be trying to force sleep??! Whattttt?? I was as shocked as you, but once you receive the education on why the brain is afraid and why no dim-lighting, sleepy tea, or even sleeping pills will produce sleep, you willl realize there’s NOTHING there. Literally, nothing. Coach Erichsen is the man, he really changed the way I will forever view sleep and this app has had an amazing improvement in my life!- Jesse
