I play these types of mobile survival games quite often, especially when I’m traveling for work or vacation. I don’t like them all equally, of course, and I found this one to be the most difficult out of all the ones I’ve had the opportunity to try. However, that’s what I appreciate so much about this game. I knew from reviews that it wouldn’t be easy, but I’m always up for a gaming challenge. I gave this a try and let me just tell everyone who reads this—succeeding in an expedition is that much more rewarding knowing that it’s incredibly easy, and almost inevitable, for one to die. I find great entertainment at the prospect of dying, as I don’t take death in this game too seriously. When I do die, I’m not the type of person to get discouraged or frustrated. I use it as a chance to try a new path, or to craft more items before I go out. One thing I find great joy in is chancing an encounter with the Nightstalker in the middle of the night. So far, he’s always come to scare me back to my castle, but I hope with more persistence he’ll eventually find me annoying enough to leave alone. Like, “omg, she’s out again! Doesn’t she ever sleep?! I was hoping nothing would come from my patrols tonight so I could go back to my cubicle to continue catching up with my shows. Oh well, she only goes to level one forests so I guess I can ignore her for now.” <— this is what I hope will happen, but I’ll just have to keep trying.Thank you for an entertaining game! S++ in my book. Carry on.
