The v380 is a really good camera for the price, easy install and convenience but finding information about operating it is next to impossible. Simple things like if I take a snapshot, how do I access it? are not available. You have to try and fail to figure out most things. On line searches turn into repetition with no new information, a barrage of ads for other things or send you to another product. This part is horrible, but the basic camera operation seems fair for the price- don’t expect too much. tho!!Add on - about two weeks after his review one camera started acting up, not reacting to motion nearby and the other just died. Both have been in operation less than 4 months.Maybe not such a good deal after all.

I’ve had both V380 and then V380 pro for around a year and I can say I have been extremely satisfied with the app, no problems once set up properly! I can say at first I had a heck of a time getting everything set up correctly and running but once I did, it’s been awesome and the V380 app is even better than the original, as it allows me to check back throughout any 24 hour period of time on my SD card in the cam. I’d like to add that the camera I purchased to specifically work with the app is freaking AWESOME especially for the price!! Can’t be beat at all anywhere, HD video crystal clear with sound, intercom and 360* degrees of available viewing area at the touch of a control button, also I love the voice control now offered to control the viewing area it’s really cool to say left right up down etc and automatically the software recognizes my voice and executes the command. I’ve definitely been a happy customer and think the negative reviews are probably from incorrect setup or incompatible camera etc, give it a try and I think you will be as enthusiastic about it as me. Thanks to the developers! The only downside to me is the confusion about how to get the v-coins and cards for the cloud service of theirs...I’m using an sd card and happy with it, but would like to give it a try sometime and be able to check back further than 24-48 hours for constant recording and see what occurred

Instead of them focusing on a task of home security, they flood the app full of ads even if you get the subscription every time you log into the app there’s ads, so let’s just say in that moment you heard something in the room where you have the camera and you go right on the app itself it takes at least 2 to 3 minutes the ad has to go to First most the time that ads they promote is a video game so then the screen glitches and become black because the ad itself isn’t built to be on that app itself, so then you have to exit out the app and go back into the app, hoping that third times a charm and it’s going to work and if it does on the app you will see the location of where you have the camera set up. It will show screenshot by then that noise that you heard about a half hour ago. It’s no longer there so then you go downstairs and your TV is gone. Everything is emptied out your safe. This is the worst app I’ve ever witnessed and even if you try reaching out to them they don’t speak English. They’re Asians, but I don’t know what part of Asia they come from.

I bought mine one year ago and seems to work well when connected to it trough your smart phone but it chases the wind a lot if you’re watching it or if you’re not watching on your smart phone it usually ends up facing the ground but I set mine in the direction I want to view & screwed it to not move which there supposed to be a control for but I also straight wired it to my router and it stays recording all day & night the only issue I have is that when you zoom in on something as far as it will allow you to it gets blurry but only at night time other than that if you’re not straight wired in or have it from moving it will kinda just do what ever it wants to & also when you zoom in and look you can still scroll around with the camera it’s self so for the money & a little modifies it not to bad at all the only thing is you have to buy the extra GB to save more on your device
